This is the first night I have ever slept in peace, "Good morning, Love" I say as she moved herself to her elbows, "When did you wake up?" She asks, "an hour ago" I make my way to my thrown clothes on the couch, "can we leave?" I turn to face her as I put my jacket on " I will ask" I say shortly.
She nods, "I am leaving tomorrow morning," I say putting my shoes on, "where?" To kill your father, "work, I will be back in 3 days" and I will miss you like hell but I have to do this to keep you safe.
I smile her way appearing as normal as possible little does she know Alessandro Adler will be dead soon.
"Sounds boring" she comments, "guns are boring now?" Her eyes widen, " you are planning on killing someone?" That rapist. "No, we will have them just in case" I answer calmly.
She doesn't seem pleased with my answer, "HOLA KIDS" Maya enters the room with Taylor behind her saving me. "It's 7 am how on earth do you have this much energy?" Kate asks. That's how Maya and Taylor have always been.
"I will.." I say showing the door with my hands, Kate smiles my way nodding.
I make my way out of the room taking Taylor by his neck with me, "don't say shit, don't ruin it" I know exactly what he is trying to do, and am not gonna let her be heart broken again, "we have to, you think this is a joke?-" I let him down, closing the door behind me "-We could lose her at any moment you think that I am okay with it?" he adds whispering, "it's not your place or mine to tell her," I say to him making my way to the reception.
"And you think Maya is capable of saying it to Kate?" I stop turning around, "she will end up knowing anyways, you think Kate is dumb, she is smarter than the both of us, get over it" I snap back.
"You don't understand I love her I am afraid to lose her, okay? Maya was a big part of her life, what would she say when she knows we knew all along and didn't want to tell her?"
He is losing it I am losing it, I will make sure it doesn't affect Kate in any way.
"I am not telling her," I say with a steady tone, turning to where I was headed. No words were exchanged after that between us anymore.
"I need to talk to her doctor right now" I say to the nurse, scaring her. "Doctor Watson said she can't be out before tomorrow morning sir" screw him. "I am taking her out, I will take care of her".
I turn back to her room in a fast motion, "are you insane? That's so much worse for her" fuck your minions, Taylor, "suck it, Bob" he snorts.
I open the entry without knocking, "we are going home" only to see them both laying on the floor with books in their hands, "you never got over your book addiction didn't you?" I ask Maya, she always had a book with her no matter the occasion.
