55.

I am up.

54.

She is moving none stop, the sounds created by the fabric from underneath her are keeping my eyes open. I check my watch it was 5:55 almost 6.

52.

I sit up only to find her looking at the same ceiling again. I get up slowly, my entire body feels numb, it's freezing outside and it's barely the end of November.

50.

This beeping sound is so loud my ears are bleeding.

48.

I stand tall colliding my hands together trying to ignore my frozen spine, "special ceiling I see" I comment approaching her, I look at pale face,it's slightly turning blue.

46.

My heart rhythm starts to fasten up, I touch her hand softly, "your cold" I state, pulling the blanket furthermore over her body.

44.

A tear escapes her eye slowly down on her cheek, my finger meets the tear halfway, "what's wrong?" I ask concerned, she turns her face to mine but I can't remark a single emotion.

46.

My thumb meets her soft face removing it from her face, making sure I don't touch her skin with the tip of my nail.

44.

"Want me to call someone?" I ask with a low sound, she shakes her head, her eyes scarcely open. I watch as her chest rises and falls calmly.

42.

She raises her left hand out of the blanket, shaking.

40.

I take it as a sign for me to take it, I place my hand in hers, and her frozen one grips into mine tightly.

38.

"I love you" she mouths, I smile.

"I love you too" but I bet you love Kate more.

36.

She smiles softly and places both of our hands under her chin and somehow that tiny space is so warm compared to our skins.

34.

"Want me to call someone?" I repeat with a more convincing tone, I would run out of this door to make sure she is okay, she doesn't answer she simply stairs into my eyes.

32.

I look up at the monitor which is turned towards the wall since the last time they checked on her, I look down at her, her fingers are freezing and it's not a normal temper of freezing...her chest slowly increasing and falling under our interacted hands.
