Leo is here.

Taylor is going insane, I have never saw him in a state similar before, he is always smiling, always cheering, making jokes, but now it's the complete opposite.

No one is talking, the silence is louder than it was back in the house, it's different, so much different.

Each one of us has a million thoughts unsaid, and it's better if they stay this way.

We are all waiting for someone to come out of that room and talk to us, tell us what is going on, tell us she is going to be fine, she's going to be okay, she is coming back home.

Nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

My tears are begging to be free but I would rather keep my emotionless face for now, Leo's hand is resting on my thigh making small circles and that's the only thing keeping me calm right now.

I read the time on the big clock in front of me on the wall,

It's 1:14

We have been sitting her for 8h and 15 minutes straight, no words, no emotions, no movement, just unsaid thoughts in the air.

The door to my left opens, I freeze.

Nor Leo or Taylor noticed they are completely out of this world at this point, I turn my head slowly to the nurse standing out of the door now, she is smiling, a sad smile, a no good sign smile.

I want to scream.

I take a deep shaky breath, taking Leo's hand in mine, his body shifts in reaction, he turns my way only to be met by the same nurse, I clear my throat taking Taylor's attention as well.

She takes her blue gloves off slowly looking at the ground, what the hell is going on?

"Her heart is not functioning as it should" she says with a low voice.

Well, I am sure my heart isn't functioning and failing to breath right now.

Breath Kate, Breath.

89.

We are all silent waiting for her to continue, "we have to take serious actions before it's too late-"

Leo cuts her, for the first time in 8 hours I hear his voice, "I am sorry, what does that has to do with her cancer ?" I haven't even thought about that yet, she moves slightly forward throwing her gloves away in the bin that is placed to her left before she starts explaining, "this isn't about cancer, CABG surgery is immediately needed" this is so messed up, I have never been so confused before..she is simply dumping random information that we have nothing to do with. this isn't about lymphoma anymore.
