Katie's POV

I woke up and groaned a lil reaching for my phone noticing it was still dark out "4:28am oh god i moaned to myself" i lay back and let out a tired huff debating whether i should get up to start my day or not i decide to stay in bed and go through my phone i start by checking texts i missed while i was asleep and notice one from my best friend Chloe i instantly start smiling at her text

HEY omg just think in less than 24 hours we will be in LA enjoying the great weather drink in hand planning your birthday night out! i cant wait ill see you in the morning love yaaaaa xx

Me:

holy shit i know!! im so excited but you do know we are actually going there because i have a major meeting about my music career so will be alot of stress haha its not a none stop 3 week party sadly i wish it was but hey we have the first few days to chill and party, love ya too see you in a few hours xx

i smile to myself as the thought of going to LA enters my mind I've been waiting for this opportunity for the last 4 years when i was 24 i decided to start following my dream but nothing really came of it till last year when a major record label got in contact and wanted to get something set up up until then i only ever uploaded covers to YouTube or twitter or Instagram and they get a lot of attention from the fans well not fans I'm no one but the supportive audience that watch and support my videos, the only reason i started posting and decided to follow my dream was because of my Mum (mom) Lily and best friend Chloe i don't know what id do without them really.

i came out to my friends and family when i was 21 and they where all so supportive i couldn't ask for a better bunch i love each and everyone of them i don't know what id do without them, I've been single the last 2 years because dating sucks i got my heart broken by my ex Lisa lets just say i walked in on her and some chick in a very disturbing position, so i ended it there and then and broke all contact with her ive not seen or heard from her since anyway back on track

i look at the time and notice an hour has passed so i decide to get up and go for a nice long shower to wake myself up before i finish the little bit of packing i have left i walk into the bathroom and strip my clothes off as i turn the shower on and step in "ahhh that feels amazing" i lean against the wall for a second to enjoy the hot water running over my body before i start to wash my hair i let all the shampoo run out my hair before applying conditioner and grabbing some shower gel to wash my body after about 15 mins i step out the shower and wrap myself in a towel and wrap my hair in a tower and head downstairs to the kitchen to make some coffee before i get ready and fix my hair

i finish my coffee and head back to my room and grab my outfit for today some white ripped skinny jeans and white crop top with some air max to complete, i start to dry my hair and when I'm done heat the straighter up and hear my phone buzz i walk over and grab it and open the text from Chloe

i hope your up bitch I'm on my way over i have Starbucks and McDonalds breakfast xx

Me:

yeah yeah I'm awake been up since 4:30am haha I'm just about to straighten my hair so ill leave to door unlocked for you xx

as i hit send i get up and run downstairs to unlock the front door and head back up to straighten my hair I'm halfway done when i hear Chloe enter my house screaming like a maniac she's honestly something else

"LA BITCHES LETSSSSS GO"

I laugh and yell back "really Chloe its 8am take a chill pill my dude and where's my fooooood" she's comes upstairs and looks right at me "i got it right here here you go" she smiles and hands me the food and i take it with a smile as i go back to finish my hair 10 mins later im done and turn to look at Chloe stuffing her face, "hey can you open the window for me its really warm bc of the straighteners" "of course, hey btw you look smoking hot babe i think someone's looking to pull in LA"

i look at her with a shocked expression and just laugh at her "bro if anything it will be fun you know I've not been interested in relationships since Lisa she broke my trust unfortunately" she sits on the bed and starts speaking "Kate i love you but you cant let her ruin love for you plus you never know until you meet someone never say never and if its only fun your looking for the ladies of LA wont know what hit the" she laughs and continues "ill be your wing woman you be mine there's got to be lots of sexy dudes in LA for me and you never know i could meet the man of my dreams" she looks at me and smirks and i roll my eyes and sit beside her "ok deal we wing woman each other and if you meet your future husband i swear i better be your maid of honour and your 100% right Chloe i cant let one girl ruin my trust in all woman but for the moment until i meet this girl of my dreams I'm happy to just find someone to have fun with in LA" i smirk and laugh and she hits my shoulder playfully this should be a fun trip chloe gives zero fucks she isn't scared to approach someone and get numbers i wish i had her confidence i mean i have confidence i can talk and flirt with the ladies but its no where near Chloe's level she's honestly something else and i wouldn't have her any other way.

AN: i don't know when or where to stop a story so i randoly stopped hereor i would have kept writing and writing haha going to get the next chapter done right now let me know what you think good bad or ugly i want honest feedback babes but this chapter has 1.2k words so its not that bad haha if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry lmao
