Chapter 11

Lizzies POV:

We spend almost an hour walking around the park and acting like 3 children it was honestly one of the best walks in the park I've had in-between the childish antics I try and tell them a little about the park were almost back at the car and I'm super excited about haging out with Katie longer and getting to see her do her thing I find myself constantly stealing glances at her she's just something else I can't explain the connection I feel with her it's like she's a magnetic force pulling me in, god I feel like such a simp but for her I'll let myself simp all day and night, I'm not looking forward to hearing her sing sad songs about her ex I know she said she's OK now but just being able to hear what she felt and went through will hurt like a mother fucker I let out a silent sigh and smile as Katie opens the door for me "why thank you Kate such a gentle woman" I giggle and she bows "stop you'll make me blush" she giggles and chloe decide to join in "Katie your not being subtle your feelings are showing" I look out at the both of them amuse and Katie turns bright red and I watch as she jumps in the car and shuts the door "bitch shut the fuck up you can open your own door loser" I place my hand on her thigh and lean my head on her shoulder and laugh "you guys are something else"

We've been in the car for about 20 mins and Alex just told us that we should be there in 5 minutes I'm sure Katie said her manager will meet us there, I look at her and she's busy taking in the sights I slightly squeeze and rub her thigh to get her attention "hey you excited to actually be in a recording studio recording your work?" I ask with sweet calming voice and she smiles wide "I'm super excited and I'm glad your here for it too" she looks over at her best friend and shrugs "I suppose I'm glad your here too" she mumbles adorablely they look at each other and laugh as she grabs chloes hand "no in all seriousness tho chloe I'm really glad your here with me you have no idea how much it means to me" my heart flutters at the moment they shared.

Katie's POV:

I let go of chloes hand and watch her smile bright as I rest my hand on lizzies as Alex pulls over "here we are ladies, just call me when your done and I'll be here to pick you up" we get out and thank Alex as he drives off, I feel the nerves start to kick in and as if she senses it lizzie steps forward and intertwined our finger together and chloe follows taking my other hand "Kate you got this and me and lizzie are gonna be cheering you on" my best friend said making me smiles so hard we walk inside and I see a woman maybe late 30s early 40s with dark hair and a pant suit and she approaches us stretching her hand out to me "miss Henderson it's great to finally meet you in person I'm Sarah your new manager, are you ready to get some songs recorded?" She asks with a smile "hey Sarah please call me Katie and yes I'm super excited, this is chloe and Elizabeth is it OK that I brought them?" She smiles and starts walking as we follow her "of course thats fine Katie" we follow her into a studio room and I look around with my mouth wide open totally in awe "shut your mouth your gonna catch flys" chloe says and laughs I just playfully push her "shut up dickhead"

We've been sitting on the couch for 20 mins with Katie and the producer explaining everything to me and I just nod taking all the information in, fuck this is a surreal experience I get up and head to the booth lyrics in hand and put on the headphones we do a quick test to make sure they can hear me and I can here them.
"OK Katie we have the music you gave us ready so when your ready please" I sent Sarah the melody's and tunes last week I take a deep breath and give a thumbs up and start singing as I hear the music.

I give the thumbs up that I'm done and look over to see them all looking at me with different expressions I wipe my eyes and smile "how was that do I need to do anything again?" I ask trying to mask my emotions and hear Sarah "no wow Katie that was amazing we can take a minute before we move on to the next song" I smile and take some water smiling over at lizzie and chloe and they smile back I grab the headphones and speak up "ok Sarah I'm ready when you guys are" she nods "ok ready in 2 seconds"
