Chapter 10

We pull up outside lizzies house and I just stare wide eyed and mouth and lizzie giggles at me "real nice Katie" I hear chloe say while laughing "Holy shit lizzie this is massive" she smirks and gets out the car "well would you guys like to come in while I get clothes ready?" We step outside the car and follow lizzies lead as she leads us inside I stare in awe at how beautiful it is "wow lizzie this place is huge and beautiful" she smiles and walks upstairs and yells "please make yourselves at home I should be down in about 10 minutes feel free to look around help yourselves to anything in the kitchen" I look around and yell "ok doke thank you" I wander around until I find the kitchen and open the fridge to get some water and decide to look around this is freaking beautiful I have no words after a few mins and lots of looking I walk over to chloe who's made herself at home on the couch I sit beside her and whisper to get her attention "hey so um be real with me, do you think I should ask lizzie out on a date, I don't want her to think I'm only wanting to sleep with her bc yeah thats great but I'd love to take her out for a nice meal am I being stupid? Is it to soon I mean I know it is but we're only here for 3 weeks and I just" I start to ramble and she puts her hand on my shoulder giving me a loving smile "life is short just go for it the worst that can happen is she says no, I've watched you two interact all day and I see the way you look at eachother when you think the other isn't looking I have a good feeling about lizzie don't ask what it is call it a best friends instinct" I smile a lil and rub my hands on my shorts "thank you chloe your right life is to short to not go for the things you want in life, BTW Sarah my new manager wants me to go to the studio later to record 5 songs I know what ones I want to recored but do you want to come with me? I was thinking of asking lizzie too not as a date but just so I can spend a little more time with her" and she gently punches my arm "of course do you think I'm going to miss the first time my best friend go's to a proper recording studio no mam, I'm gonna be there supporting you loser"

Lizzies POV:

I walk up to my bedroom and smile like an idiot at Katie's reaction to my home she's just the cutest, I walk into my bathroom and wash my face and brush my teeth feeling slightly fresher than a few mins ago I walk over to the closest and search for a cute outfit, I decide to go for denim shorts and a crop top, I smile looking at myself in the mirror and spray a little perfume now onto my next tast I look in the closest for what I need and I found it I grab a bag and put the strap and a few more toys inside I then grab some spare clothes and put the in the bag covering the toys and smirk a little proud of myself I decide to head downstairs and catch the end of their conversation "wow your going to a recording studio later? That's amazing I bet your super excited " I announce as I walk over to them Kate looks over at me and flashes me an adorable smile "yeah I was just saying to chloe to see if she wanted to come I was also going to ask you if you maybe want to come too you don't have to if you don't want to or if your busy I completely unde..." I gently cut her off because shes rambling which is adorable but i dont want her to think i dont wanna soend time with her "I'd love to come watch you do your thing, you where rambling and it was cute" I hear her sigh with what I assumed was relief and smile "so ladies should we head out" the both of them turn and said in unison "yesss let's go" they looked at eachother and giggled I couldn't help but giggle with them as we head back to the car I'm thinking of taking them sightseeing then a stroll around the park or maybe to the beach

Katie's POV:

We've been sight seeing for that last 2 hours it's now 4.14pm we decided to stop for a bite to each before we go to the park for an hour then we have to leave to go to the studio by 6 its been an amazing day with her she's just making this whole trip a million times better I'm interrupted by my thoughts when I hear chloe talking to me "so Kate what are the songs for" I shrug "Sarah told me I need to record 5 songs before my meeting next week with the label so I'm prepared and have something to show them " I take a sip of my iced coffee waiting for her reply and look over at lizzie who's just staring at me with a cute little smile "ohhh so you know what your going to record then?" I nod "yeah I know what I'm going to record you know 3 of them I've played them to you for your opinion" she frowns and looks at me "not the sad songs about that bitch I hate when your sad" I place mu hand on her arm and smile "I'm not sad babes I promise but they helped me heal and move on I'm not the one who fucked it up I shouldn't be sad she's the one who should feel sad and ashamed and I'm sure she will if the songs get released " I see lizzie out the corner of My eye rasing her eyebrows "sad, who hurt you?" I sigh and turn to face her "no one I'm not sad I promise I was back then but I'm not now just my ex she broke my my heart but I'm better now I don't let her bring me down anymore" i gave her her a genuine smile and rubbed my thumb over her knuckles gently and she looks more relaxed "ok I know we don't know eachother great but I don't want you to be sad in the time I've known you I know one thing your smile is precious and when I see you smile it makes me happy and the thought of you sad makes me feel sad" I blush and squeeze her hand what is this girl doing to me fuck she's perfect in every way "thank you liz it means alot to know you care but I promise I'm fine it's been 2 years I've more than moved on what she done no longer makes me cry or makes my heart ache"

It's now 4.30pm and we're in the car heading to the park and me and chloe look at eachother making goofy faces and we laugh at our stupidity and lizzie laughs "how old are you guys again? It seems like your a pair of 5 year olds" we look at eachother and burst out laughing and blame eachother "its totally your fault chloe" "no its yours Katie your such a child" we all laugh and pull up to the park and I hear Alex laugh at our antics.

AN: the songs that will be mentioned of I own no rights to just using them as part of the story as if they are Katie's so let's just pretend they're original songs haha 😆 another chapter done I'm thinking of leaving the story here until people read I feel like I'm writing this for no-one at all haha, word count over 1.3k
