Chapter 18

Katie's POV:

We've been with my parents all day we just finished having some food I missed them so much and they absolutely love lizzie which makes my heart smile at the sight, I feel her squeeze my hand under the table and I smile looking over at her "so what's going on with you and lizzie" my mum blurts out and I feel the heat rising to my face "mum shhh"  lizzie giggles and looks at me with the most adorable look "honestly lily we've known eachother a few days but I feel like I've known Kate all my life, and honestly I would love to see where things go" I smile never taking my eyes off her "god i love you" It just slipped out I didn't realise what I said till it was out for everyone to hear I slap my hand over my mouth as everyone looks at me not saying anything fuck I'm so stupid "I'm sorry I umm excuse me please" I say in a rush standing up and running into the bathroom slamming the door behind be sliding down it slowly after a minute I walk to the mirror and wipe the tears I'm so fucking stupid I can't go back out there but I need to go to the studio fuck my life I'm dragged out of my thoughts by a familiar voice "what was that kate" I hear my best friend say as I look at her with a look of panic "it just slipped I had no control over it fuck I fucked up so bad I can't go back out there can you call Sarah and say I'm not feeling good to see if I can change the studio time to tomorrow please" I beg my best friend "nope stop being over dramatic Kate get out there you left that poor girl out there alone with your parents" I feel the panic starting "I can't I can't go out there and face lizzie" chloe wraps her arms around me in hug as finish my sentence "what do you go out there and face me" I hear her angelic soft voice I stand up straight and rub the back of my neck as chloe leaves "I um I don't know what to say I'm so sorry please don't hate me or think any less of me im I just I dont" I'm stopped by her lips crashing against mine in a kiss full of passion after a minute we pull away "I dint think any less of you babe and I could never hate you, I like you I really fucking like you more than like even but I'm not going to say that back just yet we've only spent a few days together but they have been fucking amazing days and I will say I'm falling for you I've already told you that, I can see a future with you I honestly can so let's take it from here slowly", I smile at the fact she wants to continue spending time with me but instantly pout and look at her needing to be in her embrace "awh come here kitten" I smiles and wrap my arms around her tightly hiding my face in her chest as I mumble "can I stay here forever this is my safe place" I sigh content as she rubs my back smiling "no we can't because Alex is outside to take us all to the studio so let's go lover" she giggles and leads me outside as we head to the studio in comfortable silence as lizzie holds onto my hand and I rest my head onnher shoulder not realising chloe has been taking photos of us after roughly 20 minutes in the car we pull up outside the studio and head inside to be greeted by Sarah "Katie great to see you again glad you made it ok let's go get these 2 songs recorded the record label only need 2 more before your meeting on Monday " I nod as we walk into the recording room after a few minutes I head into the booth and put the headphones on comfortablely "ready when you guys are" they gave me a thumbs up and I look over to my parents and smile and give them a little wave noticing they both have there phones at me I decided to blow a little kiss before turning to the mic and listen as the music starts
