The dumpling wrappings I make are just water and flour. To be honest dumpling wrappings don't really have a recipe because the amount of water and flour depends on the type of water and flour it is. The main thing is to let the dough rest. I usually mix it all together and then allow it to rest on a flat platform make sure it's covered by a piece of fabric not a paper towel for 15 minutes. Then you want to knead it until smooth and allow it to rest for 30 minutes. I knead it for a third time for the best result but if you're in a hurry you don't have too. When I knead it for the third time I allow it to rest for 30 more minutes before pulling of small balls of the dough and making them into circular shapes. And then you go too the fillings which is a huge range of things you can make and I mean a huge range if you wanted you could put chocolate in it. Trust me I've tried it it's delicious and was a hit with everyone. After you narrow down what type of filling you want in it and cook the meat if there's meat in it or steam or boil the filings if they need to be. When you steam it you have to watch it and be careful to make sure not to over cook it.
