THE BROKEN HASHIRA.
"Since I was young, I have always known this: life damages us, every one. We can't escape that damage. But now, I am also learning this: we can be mended. We mend each other".

«How did you get the information? And how did you make it out alive?» the Water Pillar asked, quirking his eyebrows up perplexedly.
You were a skillful slayer, a brave one and you rarely needed someone to watch your back. No one doubted about your mastery, actually. At least, no one had ever questioned your methods until now. You had been summoned for flushing out a peculiar demon, one you could not easily take down on your own. They did not expect you to come back safe and sound and someone even thought not to see you ever again.
«I have been lucky» you simply retorted, not daring to look up at your interlocutor. Truth to be told, you were not escaping Tomioka's gaze, but Rengoku's one. You were not proud of what you had done. You felt ridiculous, embarrassed.
«We're talking about Upper Moon Two» Rengoku pinpointed, staring down at you.
There was no way you could simply keep that secret for yourself. When your eyes met the shimmering ones of your crush, you gaped and you suddenly felt your stomach twist in disgust. What did you do? You should have not agreed in negotiating with a demon. You should have just gone for his head, even if the result was not making it out alive.
You sighed and stormed out of your room, your vision blurry and your heart sinking into your chest. How could you do it?
You heard Tomioka calling out your name and someone chasing after you, but you kept running, ignoring them both."I am a demon slayer. I was thaught to behead demons, to chop their heads off, not sharing a bed with them and begging for them to set me free".
You sobbed, wiping your tears away with the sleeve of your uniform. Everyone seemed to be proud of you, but they did not know the truth. They had no idea of what you had done to obtain more informations about the Paradise Cult. You had slept with Doma, pretending to be a woman in search for help. You had asked him to stay a night in just to warm yourself up ad he charitably agreed.
You still remember the smug smile plastered on his face as he asked you to give him a blow job and sleep with him.
You were supposed to kill him, at best. Satisfying his lustful backmail was not an option. However, you were not ready to die. You still had not confessed your feelings to the Flame Pillar and you had promised him to come back. Anyhow, now you had to deal with a huge problem, with the inevitable consequence of your action.
"Would he still talk to me after what I have done? I have surely disappointed him".
Just when you thought you had left him behind, you felt his hand grabbing your shoulder and your back hit the wall behind you. There you were now, face to face with the love of your life.
«Since when the talkative Ice Hashira has decided that ignoring her problems is better than dealing with them?» Kyojuro inquired, hia forearm pressed against your throat. The pressure was preventing you from escaping his grip, but still it was not enough to choke you.
