Chapter 14: Akame's Nightmare

Midnight
April 6th, 1945

Akame was sleeping in her room but she kept rolling over and over as her face starts to sweat, she was having a hard time sleeping.

Wrong

She was having a nightmare

(Akame's Dream)

(End of Akame's Dream)

She shot in her bed screaming, and her face was covered in sweat breathing sharply as her tear starts to flow in her cheek then the door opened quickly. It was Tatsumi.

Tatsumi: Akame, I heard that your screaming, are you okay?
Akame: Ta...tsumi?

Then they look at each other before Tatsumi approaches her. Then Akame starts to have a breakdown as She clings to him.

Akame: Tatsumi... I-

Tatsumi hugs her as he tries his best to calm her down.

Tatsumi: Come here, Akame. It's okay.

Akame cries her heart out as Tatsumi tries to comfort her more.

Tatsumi: It's alright. I won't leave you, I promise.

After few minutes Akame finally calm down

Tatsumi: Akame, Tell me, what's wrong?

Then she told him about her nightmare about Yamato fought during the battle and sank, then she told him that she watched them killed or shot including her beloved, Tatsumi. Once she finished her sentence Tatsumi hugs her.

Tatsumi: It's alright, Akame, We'll get through this, Everything is going to be okay.

Akame hugs him as she looked into his eyes.

Akame: Promise?
Tatsumi: I promise.

Then they kissed for a long bit and they broke their kiss.

Akame: I love you.
Tatsumi: I love you too.

Then as he is about to go back to his room when Akame holds his arm.

Akame: Can you sleep with me?

Without hesitation, he accepted her offer.

Tatsumi: Sure.

They smiled before he went into her bed for sharing.

Tatsumi: Goodnight, Akame.
Akame: Goodnight, Tatsumi.

Then they went to sleep in their bed as Tatsumi wrapping around her waist while Akame puts her arm on his chest. Tatsumi will always be with her and making sure that she will not have her nightmares anymore.
