My POV

*Roughly one month later*

I grinned, licking my teeth as he signed the papers. I had kept the farmland, but completely renovate it into what I needed. What sat there now was a simple one-story home with four rooms and two bathrooms. I still had an animal pen of hogs, goats, chickens, and a garden so I could live off my food. A barn still stood as I had gotten a beautiful black horse named Nightmare.

"A-anything else I can d-do for you?" The banker quaked as I chuckled, lightly tipping my hat back so he could see my eyes.

"Yeah, actually there is." I grinned as I set down his picture, fucking another Imp. I narrowed my eyes as he froze, staring at the picture.

"P-P-P-" I love it when they shake.

"P-P-P," I mocked as I aimed the gun, firing a single shot at his forehead as I reached over the counter, grabbing his body. Everyone else ignored me as I dragged his body out, throwing it on the back of Nightmare as I clicked my tongue as she rode to the client's house. Sniffling, I jumped off as I threw the body on the ground, my client smiling as she handed me a stack of souls as I counted them. Last time I was stiffened and the guy should have known I would have turned on him faster than he blinked.

"Thank you so much! That cheating bastard had it coming," She said as I tipped my hat, frowning.

"It's nothing, Ma'am," I climbed back on Nightmare, making our way back home, extremely tired. As I made sure Nightmare was set, I walked into the house, heading straight for the master bathroom where I could relax in a hot bath.

That next day, with nothing to do and no new clients, I decided to head into town and see how much has changed in the four years I was gone. I nodded politely to everyone as I could feel their eyes on me. I was the talk of the town, Lizzie was back, and she's made a name for herself. A damn good assassin, especially since I walked around carrying the only two weapons I'd ever need. My blessed gun and dagger. I mused over the similarities and differences before making my way to a few stores. First walking into the flower shop, I smiled standing at the counter as a young female imp stood there, shocked that I would be in her store.

"How can I help you, ma'am?" She was nervous as I grinned before asking for a simple bouquet of 'Deadly Violets'. I watched closely as she did as she was told, handing me the bouquet.

"How much?" I asked, pulling out some souls.

"For you? On the house, ma'am." I rolled my eyes, placing a hundred soul bill on the counter winking at her.

"Don't be afraid of me dear, I'm a softie. I only go after what I'm paid to do. Keep the rest as a tip." I left the shop, seeing the old convenience store, and I grinned, making my way there.

"Wel-Oh! Lizzie!" I looked at Vex, the store's owner's son, before walking up to the counter.

"Hey Vex, It's been a while." I said as he nodded before handing me a few of my favorite chocolates "Aww, you remembered after all this time?" I leaned against the counter, popping one in my mouth.

"Well, when you're the only one who wants to be friends with a hellhound, it's hard not to remember anything about you. Welcome back, I heard you're putting roots down here?" Vex asked, and I nodded as we played catch up. Offering me a drink, I smirked, shrugging, saying I would meet him later, wanting to get back home to drop off my items.

As I walked back into town watching the sunset, I couldn't help but smile, I sure did miss that sight. I met Vex at the entrance, and we walked into the packed bar, hearing the noise quiet as everyone stared at me.

"Fuck off people, leave her alone!" Vex said. We sat at the bar, ordering a few shots to start. After a few drinks, as I started feeling tipsy, I stood up, stumbling.

"It's been fun hanging, Vex! But I really should get home." I slurred as I hugged him goodbye, making my way out into the crisp night. I sobered up quickly as I grabbed my dagger, turning to see the imp from the bar who kept eyeing me like candy.

"Well hello sexy, are you sure you're an imp and not a succubus?" He flirted, leaning into me as I stumbled back.

"Leave me the fuck alone, punk. Before you lose your life." I glared, turning back around as I kept walking, hearing him behind me trying to 'change my mind'. I turned around, pushing him into the wall as I held my gun to his head.

"I'm sorry. What was that?" I glared as I watched him piss himself. I watched as he turned around, only getting a few steps away as I tilted my head, pulling the trigger, watching his body lay limp on the ground.
