Lia
It's the next day. I get up and take a shower. I get out of the bathroom with a towel on my head. I notice something on my bed, it's a box, a gift box. I open it and find a black dress, on top of it was a black lace mask, I take it out of the box. Its a long black dress with a lace v bodice, and long lace sleeves. It had a cut in the side of the skirt for my leg. It was quite glittery. It's quite posh. I hate to say it, but he's got great taste in clothes.
There is a card at the bottom of the box.
For the masquerade ball tonight.
Don't be late.
Loki.

Three hours had passed. It's 2:30 pm, and I'm bored. I had tided the apartment and watched two movies. Today was Saturday, so I didn't have to go to practice.
I decided to leave the apartment, and take a walk in the streets of New York. I stop at the coffee shop that I go to regularly and order a coffee. I sit down at a table, and pull out my phone and scroll through the news. A guy sits in the chair two tables away from me. He looks shady as hell. He has a cap on and a wears a hoodie on top of the cap. I can't make out his features. He is talking on the phone, he glances at me for a split second and looks away. I close my phone, place it in my pocket, and start to leave the Cafe.
I start walking to my apartment. The guy is now following me at a distance. I take a right into a small street, and hide quickly in between two apartment buildings. The guy makes the same right, but doesn't find me. He gets startled and pulls out his phone quickly to make a call.
He finishes the call, and leaves the small street. I don't realize I was holding my breath until I exhaled. I start jogging to my apartment. Who was that? Why were they trailing me? I don't have time to think about because I look at my watch and realize that I need to get ready. I take a shower and dress in that fancy dress Loki had gotten me. It fits perfectly. I curl my hair into tiny waves and put on a blood-red lipstick. I place the mask over my eyes which has a winged eyeliner and some mascara. I put on laced heels to match the dress. I place two daggers in a sheath underneath my dress around my thighs, as well as some tiny blades in my bodice.
It's 5:40 right now. I get out of the apartment and head for Loki's door. I knock once and he opens the door. He is wearing a full black suit with a black tie and has a mask on his face as well. I hate to say this, but he looks handsome, no no, we don't call our enemies handsome, he's not handsome. He looks.....decent.
He looks me up and down before signaling me to enter.
"You look ravishing, gotta say, I've got a great taste in clothing" he says, smirking.
I roll my eyes. "What's the plan" I say. His face turns serious, and he tells me the whole plan.
"Great, got it" I say after he had finished telling me the plan.
"Alright, come on, we don't want to be late"
"How do we do this"
"Just close your eyes, and don't open them until I say so, and give me your hand"
"Ok" I give him my hand, and close my eyes. Suddenly I feel everything around me disappear, and the light had been sucked out. An eternal dark abyss surrounded us until we got sucked out if it and into reality. I could feel the wind dance around me and play with my hair. "Now open them" he says.
We're in front of a tall building, but it's not the Masquerade Ball. A man approaches us and escorts us inside. That is when someone in a dark blue suit approaches us. "Nathan!" calls loki enthusiasticly. "Kai!" The guy calls back. They shake hands. Nathan then glances at me and smiles."you must be Madame Peterson" he states with a smile. He extends his hand, and I shake it.
