Vanessa was surprised about Febby's engineering skills,
"If I can be very honest about you Feb. For a gal who doesn't have parents, you actually know a lot about this world and all that stuff," Vanessa said, watching Febby fixing the next speaker.
"Well, I am just trying to use whatever I am capable of to survival," Febby said, with a goth girl giving Febby a wrench.
"Must be harsh, isn't it? An orphan caring about her survival," Vanessa conferred.
"Yeah well," Febby said, finishing the fix. "What you can't get, will make you grateful."
"I see," Vanessa said, strumming her guitar, and the speaker worked.
"Well, go ahead, play me something," Febby asked.
"On 8am on a Saturday? Nah, it's my life," Vanessa spoke out.
"Sure," Febby tolerated.
"Anyways, I uhm, I heard about Robert. I... I am really sorry," Vanessa sent her condolences.
"Yeah, it will be hard for a little handsome kid like him," Febby said. "But he's strong, I see it in him."
"Guess you have a lot of faith in him," Vanessa said.
"I know," Febby said. "I just don't want him to... experience too much of this... tenacious life. He can be better than that."
"By how? Becoming a business magnate? Make a rocket to Mars?" Vanessa asked.
"I believe he'll find his way, he will outlive all of us, he will heal soon—Herman is watching him," Febby said.
"Well, it is good that he has you," Vanessa complimented.
"Why, may I ask?" she asked nicely.
"Because... you are like a figure to him, someone he could look up to," Vanessa said. "The only people I look up to is just a bunch of punks and goths."
"Well, in a place where... we are surrounded by gritty men, we lived a daring life, didn't we?"
"That we did, whatever in daring means to you," Vanessa said.
Eli, Ritter, and Drock entered the underground, with that grin of laughing.
"Why are you three so poked up?" Febby wondered.
"I guess it's some pastime," Drock said.
"Oh man, I just can't believe some school kids beat the shit out of a young blood," Eli laughed.
"Well, they got what they deserved!" Ritter said.
"Do they?" Eli asked. "Cause when I remember it, we all eared that some low-life lackeys embarrassed themselves in the football field."
"Hey," Drock called. "It wasn't like that."
"Is it?" Eli asked. "You know one thing about these Shitfucker and What-the-fuck assholes? They have a long ass rivalry since the day they were born. With that, they will never give up fighting the crap of one another that crapped them, that includes us?"
"Yeah well, we never crapped them anyway, at least not all of us," Drock said.
"Well, my school won't stop or forget such a fight that easily," Ritter said.
