Chapter 5

Gerard finally pulled into his driveway.

His house was pretty big compared to Quin's. It was made out of bricks and had a two door garage.

"I'm home!!" Gerard yelled as he walked in.

"Hey sweetheart you're just in time for dinner." Quin was guessing that was his mother.

"Mom. I have a guest, her name is Quin. Could she stay for dinner?" Gerard asked.

His mother was infront of the stove cooking. The aromas made her mouth water.

"Oh sure honey." She turned around.

His mother had the same hair color as Quin's, and it was pulled back into a ponytail.

"Aw what happened honey? You're all wet." His mother's voice was sweet like sugar.

"These brutes at her school were bullying her." Gerard sighed and looked at Quin's frail body.

He noticed something awkward... Her nipples were arisen.

He gulped as his member started arising.

"Um.. I'm going to give
Quin a fresh set of clothes."

"Okay don't get into any trouble." Mrs. Way shook her finger.

"We won't." Quin blushed.

Gerard and Quin walked upstairs and passed a bedroom.

In the bedroom a handsome boy laid on his bed using his phone.

The boy was lean and had dirty blond hair. He looked a little younger than Gerard.

He looked up for a millisecond and saw Quin, he had to take a double take.

"Hey Gerard." He got up and walked towards them.

"Hey Mikey, oh this is Quin."
He pointed at Quin.

"It's a pleasure." Mikey took Quin's hand and kissed it.

She giggled and blushed.
"Certainly is."

Gerard got aggravated and pulled Quin into his room.
"One second Mikey."

He sighed and looked at her bruises and cuts.

"I'm so sorry." He grabbed her by the waist and hugged her.

Quin felt a bit awkward because she could feel his erection.

He gave her one of his shirts for her to change Into.

She got changed and walked out to the arguing of Mikey and Gerard.

"Guys everything all right?"
She asked and then noticed Mikey's acoustic guitar.

"Oh!! Do you play!?" She looked excited.

Mikey chuckled and started strumming the cords a little bit.
"I might know a couple songs." He ran a hand through his hair.

He started playing rolling in the deep.

Quin's eyes brightened up.

Gerard was getting awfully jealous of all the attention Mikey was getting... He had to gain her attention again...

So Gerard started singing the lyrics to rolling in the deep.

Quin turned on her heal and stared at Gerard in awe.

Mikey gave Gerard a dirty look which made him smirk.

About halfway through the song their mother called them down for dinner.

"That was amazing guys!!!" She clapped her hands.

"Thanks." Mikey said simply as he ran down the stairs.

"Heh.. Thank you." Gerard blushed.

"This is honestly the best night I've ever had." Quin smiled and looked up into Gerard's eyes, as she played with his hair.

"KIDS?! YOU COMING?" Mrs. Way hollered up at them, interrupting their tender moment.

They both walked down and sat and the dinner table.

Mrs. Way was serving chicken, corn, and potatoes.

Quin sat next to Gerard and across from Mikey.

"So, Quin, I heard what happened." Mr way looked at her and took a bite of some chicken.
"..are you alright?" He looked at her worriedly.

"Yeah, I might look small but I'm tough." She giggled

Everyone seemed to like Quin.

After dinner Gerard and Quin sat outside on their steps.

The kids were looking at the stars.

But Gerard noticed something as Quin pointed at the star filled sky.

Quin had a line of cuts running down her arm.

He sat their silent for a moment, then he grabbed her hand gently. A tear started forming in his eye.

"Quin..." Gerard pulled her sleeve up slowly, revealing her wounds.

A tear dropped onto her skin, as he kissed every single scar of hers.

"Don't ever do this again, you are beautiful..."

After a moment of silence, Quin collapsed into Gerard's arms sobbing.

It was midnight, they were in each other's arms silently
enjoying each other's presence.

"Gerard?" Quin's weary voice broke the silence.

The sound of crickets were the only thing she heard for a moment.

"Yes?" Gerard's sleepy voice was deep and comforting.

Quin looked into Gerard's hazel eyes.

"Be my boyfriend."

Gerard smiled and kissed her passionately.

"Yes, my love." He whispered.
