Chapter 18

(A/n~ the YouTube video is of "at last" by Etta James. Imagine them being Frank and Quin. :) hope you enjoy. Go check out Rozzi Crane!)

Frank dropped Quin off at apartment. He had to run some errands.

Quin never got a full tour of Frankie's apartment so she was curious.

She walked into a room that she never even noticed.

It was dim, and the walls were painted red. She turned on the light. Frank could play guitar?

There were two beautiful guitars sitting on stands in line. One was acoustic, the other was electric.

There was also a microphone and other speakers.

Frank wasn't around so Quin walked over to the mic and looked at it in awe.

How she wanted to see a roaring crowd in front of her.

She picked up the electric guitar and plugged it in.

She put the strap around her, and she strummed it gently.

It sounded amazing.

Before she knew it she was jamming out on the guitar, and she started singing the first song that came to mind.

Buddy you're a boy make a big noise
Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on yo' face
You big disgrace
Kickin' your can all over the place
Singin'

We will we will rock you.
We will we will rock you.

Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day
You got blood on yo' face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your banner all over the place

We will we will rock you

We will we will rock you

Quin heard the front door shut.

She stopped playing and put the guitar on its stand.

Frank walked into the room, Quin's hair was messy as if it was thrown about.

"Hi." She smiled guiltily

"What were you up to?" Frank smiled and sat down in front of her in a chair.

"Nothing." She whistled.

Frank raised an eye brow at her.

"Okay I might of just jammed we will rock you on this gorgeous guitar." She smirked and admired the guitar.

"I didn't know you were musical." Quin sat in his lap.

"Kind of forced into being musical... My dad and grandpa were drummers." He scratched his head.

"Can you... Play me something?"
Quin gave him her special puppy dog eyes treatment.

"Sure babe." He kissed her cheek. "Get me my acoustic?"

Quin got up and handed him his acoustic guitar, and sat on the floor infront of him. She watched him strum the guitar lightly, she looked like a kindergartner at show and tell.

Frank paused to think about which song to play.

After a moment he started playing the tune to "at last" by Etta James (see YouTube video)

This was one of the most romantic songs Quin could think of.

She started humming to it. Until her mouth caught up and she started singing quietly.

"At last...."

Franks eyes switched to her face and lit up he craned his neck and turned his face so he could here her better.

She sang a bit louder.

"My love has come along.... My lonely days are over...
And life is like a song

At last

The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you

I found a dream, that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Oh yeah
You smiled, you smiled
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
for you are mine...

At Last."

Quin ended the song.

Frank's eyes never left her.

"I was about to sing that, I couldn't because your voice took my breath away." Frank blushed and played with his pick.

Quin blushed too.

"Wanna jam out all night?"
Frank looked at his girlfriend excitedly.

"Hell yes!" She jumped up and down.

---

Frank started playing basket case by green day.

He jumped around and put every once of his energy and soul into playing.

"Do you have the time? To listen to me whine?" They sang in unison.

"About nothing and everything
All at once
I am one of those
Melodramatic fools
Neurotic to the bone
No doubt about it-"

They continued the song until Frank messed up.

"You just killed the vibe dude." Quin teased Frankie.

"Aw shut up." He fake- pouted.
