Chapter 24

Quin drove over to his house.

Quin strangely felt happy when she saw his face.

"Aren't you supposed to be getting Nate?" Gerard asked worriedly sipping on his coffee.

"I postponed the date when Frank said he couldn't be a father." Quin stated suprisingly calm.

Gerard shook his head sadly.

Quin watched Gerard's every move. For some reason she missed him at the moment.

He was calm and comforting at the right moments.

"Gerard... Do you really... Still love me?" She looked down.

"I've never stopped loving you, from the day I looked at you."

Gerard looked at her seriously.

A tear started forming in her eye.

Desperate for affection she leaned into him.

She pressed her lips onto his.
They tasted like coffee, just like the first time they kissed.

"The truth is Gerard... I love you too." She pulled away and breathed into his ear.

Gerard's eyes lit up. He hugged her and smiled into the crook of her neck.

What she said next made his smile fade away...

"I love you both."

Gerard pulled away and was silent for a moment...

"I know you love him too... But please let me have one day to love you again."

Gerard sniffled.

Quin smiled faintly and grabbed him by the hand.

She lead him up to her old bedroom.

Gerard layed down on the bed and waited for anything she was going to do to him.

The sex they had felt different from last time. This time it was gentle, it was a little sad because Gerard knew that it wasn't going to be long until she would be back having sex with Frank again.

He tried to enjoy it. The love was desperate for both of them.

The two soon reached their climaxes.

Quin and Gerard were spooning. Enjoying the silence. She could feel his warm breath on the back of her neck.

"Quin... I could help you raise Nate." Gerard broke the silence.

"That's what I was planning." Quin muttered quietly.
