Ranboo's POV
(TW: Swears, Arguing, DRaMa)
Holy frick was this a big village. As the wind blew intensely through the trees we had submerged from, my body chilled and my arm pounded achingly. All three of us stood behind an old wooden bench, staring down on the collany spread out across the gorgeously green fields. It was beautiful and terrifying that it posses such dangerous people. I broke my admiration and started studying the bench. I walked around to the front of it, brushing my fingers along the smooth wood. It had a date carved into it. Possibly when it was made? I carefully rested down on the bench, crossing my legs neatly and tried to take up as little room as I could. The two boys followed my actions, both sitting down one after the other. Tubbo sat in the middle, his gaze tightly locked onto the village. Tommy was more laid back, his arm stretched out along the back of the bench and I was simply still overthinking. My tails swayed slowly before wrapping around the bench leg closest to me. I swear my tails have a mind of their own. If I'm anxious they will tangle around almost anything they can find. It was really annoying. It has been a few hours and the sun was beginning to lower over the horizon. It was honestly beautiful but Tubbo's eyes didn't even catch the sight, still heavily drawn to the stirring village below. Tommy and I both looked away from the sun and gazed at each other, both wondering what Tubbo was so afraid of.
"Hate to break this moment but Ranboo, if you want anything, we gotta go now." Tommy sighed, dreadfully breaking the peaceful quietness that was actually real this time. I nodded, uncrossing my long legs and rising to my feet. Tommy retracted his arm from the back of the bench and copied my actions, dusting off the rubbish on our pants from the bench seat as a result of the tree branches that dawned above the oak bench.
"So, I would just bring you guys stuff but unfortunately.." Tommy trailed off with a deep exhale, slowly pulled out the glistening sword. "I won't be able to leave once I enter." He finished, beginning to swing the sword around boredly. Now that pulled Tubbo from his hard stare, making him quickly rise to his feet and turn to me and Tommy.
"Are you saying he won't make it out?!" Tubbo cried, raising his hand towards me. Tommy paused, glancing between Tubbo and I frantically.
"No, I'm saying I wouldn't be allowed to come back and give you the things. I'd get followed and you guys would be fucked." Tommy explained as he continued to swing his sword around. "Especially your precious little Ranboo." He added, instant regret poured through his eyes. I face-palmed and growled under my breath.
"God dammit Tommy." I hissed, pinching my nose and shaking my head.
"Sorry.." I heard him whisper. Tubbo was now panicking, thanks to Tommy.
"WHAT? Ranboo, you're not going." Tubbo snapped, making me open my eyes and look at him confused. Tommy's eyebrows rose as well with Tubbo oddly concerned tone.
"What? Tubbo, I don't have a choice-" I began but he was quick to cut me off, making me step back.
"No. You do and you're not going down to that death trap." He said flatly, pointing intensely at me before his arm extended toward the village. I couldn't help but chuckle, nervously..
"Tubbo, where is this coming from?! I'll be fine! I practically lived in hell for 18 years." I ranted, retaking my step and moving forward. "Out of all people you should know that." I finished coldly, throwing my hand in the air carelessly.
"Don't turn this around on me. That's a fucking suicide mission Ranboo. I won't let you go along with it." Tubbo shouted back, raising his voice as if it held more power than just speaking normally.
"Why on earth do you care so much? What have you screwed in your brain to know what's going to happen?" I questioned harshly, trying to keep my tone normal but my hands were beginning to shake. Tubbo's brown ears dropped and his star pupil shrunk angrily. He backed down a little bit, exhaling heavily.
"I don't want them to kill you, Ranboo. And they probably will! We will be fine without any of those things." He explained, his voice going quiet as he lost confidence in his sentence. I furrowed my eyebrows towards him, confused and honestly shocked.
"Tubbo. We haven't eaten in three days. I don't eat very often anyways but you need to eat." I replied, my tone of voice becoming more soft as I reached the end of my sentence. He snapped his eyes shut, sliding his hands down his face frustratedly.
"That's not the point Ranboo! For fuck sakes..if they kill you, I'm alone! Tom can't come back." He shouted, pointing towards Tommy who was watching this shockingly. The poor boy had a point. He would be alone. This was beginning to take a pull on me and they were both noticing it. I looked over at Tommy and he was shaking his head while Tubbo stared his dull eyes towards me, longing for my logical response. I felt my weight sink into my legs, trying to pull me down to the earth floor. The breeze washed over us like a cold wave, making me shiver.
"If you're waiting for some sort of cocky response, I have none. All I can say is that I won't go without a fight. You gotta trust that I can and will get out alive." I mumbled firmly, lowering my head while I meant Tubbo's gaze with defeat. "Let's go." I continued, breaking our gaze and glancing to Tommy, which sent Tubbo reeling. I turned away and began to disappear into the woods.
