Tubbo's POV

(TW: Drama, Swearing)

I have no idea how long I stood there without saying one word. My throat was closing in from the stress and anger crashing down on me like an ocean wave. The anxiousness was making me incredibly nauseous.
"I can't go back, Eret.." I mumbled, folding my arms as my guilt filtered into my legs and simply weighed me down. The sunlight drained as clouds filled the sky, making it gray and sad for this gloomy moment.
"If it was a choice I would tell you." He replied firmly, lowering his head as he met my glare. "I know it makes you unhappy but you have died and now you work for us, you can't quit this easily." Eret continued as he reached towards me but I was quick to jerk my shoulder away, accidentally bumping back into Ranboo who stumbled as a result of the sudden impact. I hunched my shoulders and I felt his concerned, colourful stare dawn over me.
"Wait, you've died?!" Ranboo cried frantically, clearly taken back by Eret's words. I ignored his worry-filled question for now and kept my stare on Eret as I lifted my head.
"I'm not leaving." I snapped angrily, dropping my arms to my sides as I dug my hooves firmly into the sun dried soil. Eret growled under his breath while he pushed his glasses up because they were sliding down his nose.
"Tubbo, I'm not asking. I'm telling. Keep this up and I will throw you off a cliff to start over." Eret flared carelessly as he eyed his nails for a minute before his white hues returned my frustrated stare. I rolled my eyes, my fingers quickly balled up into fists as my ears shot up irritatedly.
"I don't even go on a lot of missions anyways. I want to stay here!" I exclaimed, my hands motioning in the air as I spoke. We all fell into a deep pit of heavy silence and shortly after I felt Ranboo's hand on my back but I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for being oddly sensitive and aware right now.
"You are making this way harder than it needs to be." Eret muttered frigidly and as I was just about to toss more snarky remarks, his hand reached out then tightly snatched my arm as he began pulling me towards the gate. In a matter of seconds, Michael began freaking out while Ranboo was trying to get him to go in the house and over all of that, I was struggling in Eret's grasp. I tripped over my own feet and fell to my knees but Eret proceeded to pull me away, just like the Endermen at the start of this miracle mess.
"Hey, hold on!" I heard Ranboo holar before my other arm was yanked in the other direction, gruesomely ripping me away from Eret's painfully strong grasp. I was quickly lifted from the ground, hugged close to the tall enderman. From the corner of my blurry vision I could see Ranboo's tails swishing obnoxiously.
"What?" Eret snapped, giving Ranboo a deadly glare as I tried to steady my breathing and keep myself from heaving for air. I was limp in Ranboo's arms as my knees were aching, especially my arrow wound that was healing slowly before it was just drug across dry and rough dirt. I soon realized my body had given up and Ranboo was the only thing holding me from falling to the soiled ground beneath us.
"Can't we try and compromise?" Ranboo calmly suggested, his arm getting tired from holding me up. Eret slowly tipped down his glasses before crossing his arms.
"What type of compromise were you thinking?" Eret inhaled sharply, clearly frustrated as his hand clutched around his forearm. I watched as Eret was desperately trying not to lose his shit in this whole situation and even though Ranboo was pulling the right card, a piece of me wanted to stop him from using compromises except I didn't have energy for that and it most likely wouldn't end well. So, I simply decided against it and stayed quiet.
"Oh gosh I don't know, maybe he stays but goes on his little 'quests' every few months?" The taller replied with a questionable tone. Eret didn't seem impressed, which was quick to slaughter Ranboo's confidence. "O-Or just take him whenever you need him?" Ranboo stammered nervously. As I was beginning to stand myself up, I felt Ranboo's multi-coloured tails quickly tangle tightly around my legs. I reluctantly froze in place and tried to turn my attention away from my legs that were going numb from the suffocating grasp.
"Do you actually love him? Or is this some murder plan for me to leave him with you only for him to die?" Eret spat with a deadpan expression as his dull white eyes glared up at Ranboo intensely.
"I think if I wanted to kill him I wouldn't have broken him out of prison, helped him escape death one too many times, take him to my old house and legit put my life on the line to keep him alive." Ranboo rambled in response as he held up four fingers in front of Eret. As Ranboo spoke, Eret's glare softened and was soon just a shocked stare. The tall boy met the white eyed man's stare boredly before he rolled his eyes. "Of course I love him!" He snapped, making Eret flinch back a tad as he pushed his glasses from falling.
"Alright, alright! You freak, he can be based here. But when I need him for missions, he comes." Eret groaned as he ripped his deep black glasses off his face before shifting his blank white gaze over to me. "I should not have to get in a fight with your stick-built boyfriend." He continued, waving his glasses towards me before folding them over the edge of his shirt. My tired expression brighted as I began to nod happily. Eret was clearly trying to fight off a smile but failed as I tossed myself into his arms, hugging him tightly while I felt Ranboo's tails slide off my legs and curl up into two small spirals beside his feet.
"He is never working holidays though." Ranboo commented as he crossed his arms and stood tall. I felt Eret shrug, loosening his arms while I began to pull away.
"We'll see about that, King." Eret hummed as he fixed the golden crown upon his head that was planted with glistening rhinestones. Shortly after, Eret pulled out his glasses and propped them back over his eyes.
"Nuh-uh. He's not working holidays. Period." Ranboo shot back as he pulled me away from Eret and draped his arm around my shoulder. Eret exhaled deeply before tilting his head towards me boredly.
"Calm down, Eret's not as heartless as he may seem." I assured the tall frowning boy with a warmhearted chuckle. Eret was agreeing before my words processed in his mind and with that, he was quick to kill me with a glare.
"What on earth is that supposed to mean?" Eret huffed as he planted his hands on his hips dramatically, making all of us burst into small laughter. Once we all quieted down and simmered in the comfortable silence, I was quick to get restless.
"Well, I should get going. Leaving Karl in charge isn't the smartest choice I've ever made." Eret sneered while I watched his back slowly hunched as a result of my deadpan stare.
"Out of all people, you left the system hacker in charge?" I groaned, cupping my hands around my face as my head rested in my palms disappointedly.
"I know, I know! I just thought I'd scoop you up and head back, not argue with an endermen thing..but life is full of weird surprises now isn't it?" Eret fulminated as he waved his hands in the air, his glasses annoyingly sliding off his face. I smiled, rolling my eyes as I crossed my arms boredly.
"I guess so." I chuckled softly though a deep sigh. Eret's grin loosened and was soon just a faint smile as he huffed slowly, his white hues glancing between Ranboo and I.
"Well..I guess I should get going." He said sadly as he broke his bright white stare, his hand disappearing behind his cape before he pulled out an ender pearl. I nodded slowly with a sad smile, my dull eyes followed Eret carefully. I watched as he tossed the pearl lightly in the air, tilting his head over his shoulder.
"See you soon!" Eret called over, both Ranboo and I waved him off as he chucked the glistening pearl over the wall of rose tangled bars and far into the woods. Seconds after, Eret vanished. Leaving nothing but faint particles behind. I felt Ranboo's arm pull away from my shoulder and I heard him walking off shortly after. I broke my sad state of mind and turned around to see Ranboo criss-cross on the dirt path, fooling around with Michael who was uncontrollably laughing. I stayed put, observing the lighthearted sight. The sun beamed upon the property, bringing a warm heat to my spine and chilled arms. It felt like I had blinked and the two were now tossing pastel coloured flower petals at each other. I sighed and shook my head carelessly, beginning to make my way towards the flower fight since I might as well join in on the action.
