The Lost Secrets

Juliette remained silent, her face was expressionless and she was not moving a muscle, there was not reaction towards Pan's words. She breathed slowly, her heart didn't skipped a single beat, and she was not sweating or blinking fast. She was just staring, looking at Pan's eyes without any emotion in her eyes. Pan took a step back, hurt by Juliette's lack of emotions. Again, Pan was lost. The girl he needed to fall in love with him was staring at him like if he was just another stranger.

"I must go now, goodnight Peter." Juliette said before leaving Pan standing with his heart on his hands.

"I just don't understand. She used to look at me with this brightness in her eyes, now she won't even see me as a person. What am I going to do now Felix? I need her!" he said to his best friend.

"Have you actually tried to talk to her?" Felix said, like if it was more than obvious.

"Felix, why do you think that I am talking to you right now? Of course I've tried that, more times that I can recall," the boy said, sighting and covering his face with his hands, "I can still feel the coldness in her eyes. I've never felt this way before."

"What you need to do is act like a man... Well, not literally, just don't act like one of the Lost Boys, including me. Act like you care." The blond boy said, then he left to finally have at least a couple hours of sleep, wanting to have strength for tomorrow's plan.

"Act like you care, act like a man, you are the King of Neverland! Why am I talking to myself?" he mumble while heading to his Thinking Tree.

His shadow appeared next to him, not smiling since it couldn't, but Pan knew that Shadow was making fun of him.

"I can see the effect she has on you. She is doing the opposite of her mission... Saving you."

"I can't think straight when I am around her, I am ruining this up. My only healer hates me." Pan said to the shadow.

"Win her heart. By nice terms, you don't want to repeat the unfortunate events from last time."

"I won't. I just need to fix her."

"I can't believe I am the one saying this, but, she is a person, not an object that you can fix and manipulate."

"I just have to make her fall in love with me again, she used to love me back then. I can make her fall once more."

"Just remember this Peter Pan. Cheaters never win. You must earn her heart when it's pure." The shadow left and Pan stood once again alone in his Thinking Tree.

The next morning, Pan had prepared breakfast for Juliette and Collin. He had sent the rest of the boys to find the lost arrows from the day before, which was an impossible mission. Felix went to beach, to prepare the war games Pan had prepared for the rest of the day.

Collin was now sleeping in Pan's bed, which was occupied by Juliette. The way she slept peacefully in his bed made him smile. At least he could see the old Juliette for a moment, even if she was not conscious. Pan sighted and looked at Collin, who was up and sleepy at the same time.

"Hey little man, I made you and mommy some breakfast." He said, messing with the hair of little sleepy boy.

"Mommy is mad at you." The boy said. "She talks when she sleeps. I think she was having a bad dream Papa. Can you help her?" Collin said, with a huge amount of sadness in his eyes.
