Juliette's P.O.V.
After having a long school day my mom called to say that she was going to be late. She was out of the city in a special meeting with some important company that wanted to work with hers. I didn't mind but I was not happy for it either, I just wanted to get back home and die alone in my small cave, watching some Netflix, doing homework even though I don"t have to do it today neither turn in any tomorrow, maybe I could cook something for me. I mean, I know how to use the kitchen.
I took my phone once more to check the time, and not even five minutes had passed. I really wanted to go back home, so I decided to send a quick message to my mother telling her I was walking my way back home.
It's was still raining so I exited the school the same way I came in. With the coat and scarf, and the umbrella, which was now green because I changed it with the one I had in my locker.
So I was walking my way in the street side looking at the stores near me, clothing shops, shoe shops, small religious libraries and one or two electronic shop. I was tired and hungry, so I went to the nearest Starbucks to have something to drink and eat. And I think that I was been followed, the way to stop that feeling was getting into a shop with many people inside or getting into a crowd. I even started walking faster, pretending to get away from the rain, and I notice another green umbrella behind me.
Well Mr.Stalker, at least we have something in common. Nice choice by the way.
Unfortunately the shop was almost empty and no crowd could protect me from the follower.
"Hi my name is Steven, what will you like to order?" the guy in the cashier said.
"Umm a White Chocolate Mocha please and a piece of that cake please." I said nervously like I always do when I talk to strange people. It is just a fear I have, saying the wrong things and getting extremely nervous in this kind of situations.
"Name?" he asked.
Okay, this is the time you choose to give a fake name or hiving the real one.
"Juliette." I said without even thinking it. I payed for the food and turned away.
"You can sit until your order is ready I you want to."
"Thanks."
The green umbrella was out there, I could see it through the window. Well, at least I can tell that it is not a high person, it looked shorter than the rest of the people around him or her.
Now I was very curious about this person, I wanted to see him. I supposed it was a him and not a she, I mean look at that back, it was surely a guy.
I placed my bag in the small couch I wanted to sit, but the curiousness was eating me alive.
Come on, just turn around.
And he did, he in fact entered the shop. I was a boy, not passing over 16 or 17 at least. He stared at the cashier and then turned to me slowly, examining the place. I turned around so we wouldn't do to much eye contact, it was creepy and not my style doing the eye contact.
He had green glowing eyes I think, he was not pale but his skin looked different, he also had brown messy but not very long hair, the boy was handsome.
"Hi my name is Steven, what will you like to order?" the cashier asked him like he asked me.
I didn't heard the rest because I was focusing on not trying to peek to give him another look and ignoring him so I would look so obvious.
I grabbed a book from my bag and started reading it, then I saw the boy sit in the couch in front of mine. For a moment I wished this book was longer so I wouldn't finished to fast, but it was eating my feelings from the inside that I just wanted to end this already.
