I waited for my mother outside the supermarket for at least an hour, it was a rainy day and I was not wearing even a sweater, and it's was so cool out here. Why haven't I entered the store again and stayed there while my mother came back for me? Oh right. Because there is no place to actually be in there with all the stuff I had bought. I was definitely going to freeze out here. I hugged myself seeking to warm up a little, I was shivering and the notice of my teeth was starting to annoy me.
I wish I had some money left from the shopping, because I would have taken a taxi to get back home. But my mother gave me a reasonable amount of money for the stuff she wanted. God, she was clever, or too mean.
"Mother, please. Just answer the phone. It's a simple job." I said to my phone.
"The number you are trying to reach is not available, please-" the operator said.
Great, just great. This is one of those moments when I wanted to hit my head against a wall, cry, and even laugh. I think that I wanted to cry because I wanted to laugh at my mother's responsible and functional memory.
"Hello there. What are you doing here all by yourself."
"Peter? What are you doing here?"
"I asked first." He smiled at me.
"And I asked second." I said, fixing my hair a little bit.
He chuckled and stared at the same floor I was sitting, then he turned to me and kind of asked me if he could sit besides me. So I just moved, I was so nervous right now, I didn't know what to do.
"So, what are you doing in this part of the city?" He asked me, reaching my cold hand and holding it.
"I-I came here shopping for food. My mother left me here about an hour and a half. Guess she abandoned me. Again" I said, showing disappointment and anger.
"Adults, so typical." He said.
"And you? What is the Mysterious Boy doing in a place like this?"
"Just exploring, and then I found you!"
He looked so lost for a moment. Like if he had forgotten where he was. I wonder what he is thinking of. Or why is he using the same clothes from monday.
"Why are you staring at me?" He suddenly asked.
"Uhh. Was I staring?"
"Stop staring at me. You make me feel nervous." He laughed.
I laughed and shook my head, preventing convulsions from laughing.
"Who are you Peter?" I asked, looking at his eyes, seeking for an answer.
"I'm Peter. I've already told you."
"I know that your name is Peter. And that you are good looking by the way. But I don't even know your last name!"
He didn't looked surprised, confused, irritated, or mad. He was unexpressive. I was not able to read him. And that was annoying.
"You are very smart. And beautiful, you know that? I wanted to wait for tomorrow, but desperate times are a pain in the ass for me, and I had to take serious measures." He sighted.
"Is everything okay Peter?" I asked, confused as hell about the current situation.
"Yeah, you could say so... Let me take you to your house."

My mother was not here yet, and all the light of my street were all off, and it was dark.
