-Santana pov-
I have thankfully been doing good this week. It has been a little lonely around here though. Brittany has officially left for vacation and Quinn has been bonding with her mom. I have no idea what Rachel has been up to.

"Prepare to be disappointed" I look at my dad and smile as he walks in "At least I got a smile from you!"

"I just have accepted she is not coming back" I shrug and look at the radio he is holding "Why do you have our old radio? Does it even work anymore? I mean you dropped it out of the car on vacation"

"Hey there was a speed bump!" I chuckle and he huffs "This surprise better improve your mood"

I raise a confused eyebrow and he pushes the play button.

"Hello Santana!" I wave with a timid smile at Rachel as she walks in "How are you doing today?"

"Good enough to go home?" My dad nods and I smile brighter "I am going home!"

"Good! That means we can hang out!" I look at her confused and she frowns "Have I picked up on signals wrong? Oh dear I have! Sorry I just thought we were friends now! Or at least working on it...so stupid! I should have known that I was being overzealous! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

"Rachel!" She looks at me and I can see the pain all over her face "I would love to hang out with you! I just did not know we were going to be hanging out soon"

"I just thought maybe the sooner we work out our issues the sooner we can get to the good stuff!" Her shy smile makes my heart melt "So you available?"

"For you Mi Estrella" I smile and nod "Always"

There is a huge smile that breaks out on her face. When it shines my heart starts picking up. I glare at the machine that sells me out on that. I look at my dad who is trying not to bust out laughing.

I pout when the laughing comes from Rachel. I smile though as I listen to it. She sounds so lovely when she laughs and talks. She is so lovely in every way possible.

I have no idea how I could have been such an asshole to her. She is so perfect in my eyes. She should be seen as perfect to everyone. I will fix that going into the next school year.

She will be a princess in that school. If I can help her be a Queen that would be even better. But a princess is a decent goal in itself. She will have every solo if I can help it too.

"Why so serious?" I look at Rachel with a pout as she pokes in between my eyebrows "Even with wrinkles you look so stunning...how do you do it Santana?"

"I do not wrinkle" She chuckles and I huff "I do not!"

"Sure and I do not have a beard" My jaw drops as I look between my dad and Rachel as they both laugh "I like this one"

"I will never live it down if you turn my parents against me!" Rachel smirks as she rolls her eyes "Do not roll your eyes at me!"

"You are being dramatic" I raise a eyebrow and she narrows her eyes "Do not even keep the thought going"

I smirk and put on my challenge face "Says the one who stomps her way out of glee?" She steps back and I look at her confused "What was that for?"

"So I can do this" Rachel runs around to my good side and jumps onto the bed "Heeeey Santana! You look so gorgeous in this bed"

"Oh god" I hear my dad make a gag sound and glare "Do not ruin this moment for me! I have dreamed of this!"

"Dreamed of me in your bed huh?" My eyes go wide and I turn toward a smug smirking Rachel laying down beside me "What do we do in those dreams huh? Anything good?"

"Separation!" Dad stands up and runs out of the room "I am signing the papers!"

Rachel and I both start busting out laughing. I look at her with a huge smile. She looks so lovely next to me. I will not ruin this chance I have to make things right between us.

I do not care what reputation I lose...kind of. I want to be able to protect myself and her. But I would love to hang out with her in school. I guess I need Quinn on my side fully. I have no idea what we can do but it is planning time.

For now I just am ready to get out and hang out with Mi Estrella.
