Chapter 19

-Rachel pov-
I take a deep breath and look at the building in front of me. A few months ago this building scared me deeply. I would be lying to say it does not still. But I have a no found strength for this place.

I know I can still be happy here. I know now that they are just people struggling. It does not justify the bullying but it helps. I already have an idea for Miss Pillsbury to help the bullies and the bullied.

It was Santanas idea partially. She wants to make up for what she has done. Qui-Lucy has been wanting to help out too. She wants to prove she can be a good person to herself and that she deserves Brittany's kind heart.

I already think she has done enough. She has nothing left to prove to anyone. But she just gets into her own head too much. I sigh and shake my head at that stubbornness we both share.

This year is going to be different for sure. William is no longer here. Apparently Sue got him arrested for misconduct with minors and well our performances were enough evidence to put him away. Which is why we have a new teacher.

"Rachel come on!" I turn and see my mom walking up with Beth "I have the club room to decorate and kids to introduce myself to!"

"Yeah I know" I shift the box in my hands "Let us get to decorating!"

"I got that Tiny" I get a kiss as Santana steals the box "No heavy lifting for my princess"

"I am spoiled with love" She smiles and I can not help but return it "Let us go one then!"

"Hang on!" We all stop and turn to see returning club members "We got something to show you all"

I share a look with them and we follow hesitantly. It takes a bit but we end up backstage. The stairs for plays are out. What is going on right now?

We are confused until the music starts. This was a song that showed us as a united front. We came together even if the football team left us. I smile and grab Santanas hand as Quinn shows up with Britt.

"We may not agree on a lot of things" Noah steps toward us "But we know who our family is"

"This year we work on being a closer family" Mercedes smiles at us "No more separation and backstabbing"

"I could not agree more" I smile happily as they do "Now can we group hug or just awkwardly stand here?"

Everyone laughs and we join together. I notice the lack of Finn here. I will not complain though. I did not want to see him after everything that happened.

I think I remember Kurt talking about a military school. When the group hug ends we all head to the club room. Mom is so happy when everyone pitches in to help decorate the room. By the end of it the room actually looks amazing.

"I think the beginning of this new year should bring a new club" We all look at her and she goes on "New Directions has some..tainting to it and the board wants a new name for us anyways"

"Well we all can carry a tune" Noah seems to be in deep thought "Anyone going against us is going to be in deep trouble singing to try and win"

"Trouble sounds good" Mom looks around at us all "Anything else?"

"Tones" I get looked at confused "Trouble tones! Tones are apart of music and people will be in trouble with the amazing tones we all have!"

"Any objections?" Everyone shakes their heads an w claps "We have our new name! I will go call the board!"

"She is excitable" We all chuckle as Artie looks around the room "This year will be a good one..I can feel it already"

"I can too" I smile and give my girlfriend a peck on the lips "We got this"

"Yes we do" She picks me up and spins us around "Cause if you fall I got you"

"I will always be there to catch you" We share a deep kiss and gets whistles "Watch yourselves!"

I smile at the real laughter coming from everyone. This is what family is. I can not wait for this year to truly begin. Everything seems like it will be worth it.

No matter what though I am just happy I found myself and my soulmate this summer. But I think our story is only just beginning.
