Chapter 16

-Santana pov-
"Alright this is for the best" I take a deep breath and knock on the door "She needs this especially with her dads away on a trip...I am being a good girlfriend! I am the best girlfriend! This is exactly what she needs!"

"Well you seem to be good at talking to yourself" I jump and look at the person standing in the doorway "May I help you...Santana was it?"

"I Uh well yes" I take a deep breath and get my thoughts in order "Rachel's dads have left on a business trip and she told me she is fine alone...I can see she is not though and even though YOU hurt her I am willing to try to help you!"

"I could have my baby back?" I nod and she smiles "I will be ready with Beth in a minute!"

I nod and she lets me inside. I sit in a chair and wait for the duo. I am there a few minutes when there is a knock. I get up and answer the door to open my eyes wide.

"I knew you would be here!" I look at my Mami confused "Tracker on the phone"

"I hate when you do that" I hear footsteps getting close "Why are you here?"

"To ask you the same thing" Mami glares past me "That woman is evil!"

"Rachel's dads are on a business trip and I want to make up what I have done" Moms face takes on a whole new look "Mam?"

"The Berry men are not on a business trip" Mom frowns and shakes her head "We need to go"

I share a worried look with Shelby as we move. What is really going on at the Berry house?

-Time skip-Rachel pov-
I hear knocking and go to the door. My pizza is finally here. My doctor said I need to try to eat meat every now and then. My protein intake after workouts is not good.

"I hope this was worth the wait" I open the door and frown "This is not how I thought my pizza would be delivered"

"The tip is do not lie to your girlfriend" Santana steps inside "We all need to talk"

"I hate talks like this" Everyone else steps in but the last two "You coming in or staying out there? You have already hurt me"

"They do this often?" I turn and see Daniel looking angry "Mija do they do this often? Is this the emergency time they take off?"

"Yes" Daniel walks away and pulls out his phone "I am tired of being alone and pretending I am fine"

"You are not alone" I am pulled into a hug of warmth and care "I will never leave you again ok? Please let me prove myself to you"

"Please let me be your baby girl" I sob into her shoulder as she holds me "I can not be alone in this house anymore mom!"

For once I believe it and I do not feel alone. I feel loved.
