Ghostly Encounters

Chapter two

It was a school day for Drake and Josh, which meant they had to leave the house early for the day. Drake and Josh woke up, had breakfast, packed their stuff and drove to school. The first class they had for the day was Mrs.Hayfer's. She was finishing grading the test papers when the students arrived.  

"Good morning, everyone! Now that everyone's settled, I'm sure you're all eager to get your test papers back." Mrs.Hayfer announced to the class

Josh felt excited while Drake tried to hide himself, trying not to be seen. Mrs.Hayfer then handed the test papers back to the students.

"Alright, I got an A!" Josh said with excitement

Mrs.Hayfer gave Drake his test paper. "A C+, not bad." Drake said  

"Now, since you all have your test papers back, I will now announce the person that will recieve the guitar. And the winner is.."

Please be me, please be me, Josh thought 

"Josh Nicholas!" Mrs.Hayfer announced

"Yes!" Josh got up out of his seat and danced on top of his desk 

Drake facepalmed himself when he noticed how much of a fool his brother was.

"Congrats, Josh. I'm sure you're very excited to try out for the school play. Do you mind if I ask you to do one thing? Can you make sure the guitar works? Megan helped set them up. I'm sure your little sister did a wonderful job." Mrs.Hayfer asked Josh

"No problem, Mrs.Hayfer." Josh said as he excitedly tried out the guitar. Unknown to him, the mentos and the soda started mixing together as soon as Josh started strumming the instrument.

A minute later, the brothers were standing outside the school, staring dumbfounded at the building as it was completely covered by soda, mentos, and fire.   

Meanwhile, Mrs.Hayfer was on the phone.

"Sure, I'll let them know." The brothers heard her say

"Hey boys, looks like it will take time to rebuild this school. In the meantime, you'll be transferred to Casper high school in Amity Park."  

Drake and Josh knew a little bit about Amity Park. Their parents went on vacation to go to Amity Park a month ago. They heard their parents talk about how they saw ghosts on their trip. Josh believed everything they were talking about while Megan and Drake were skeptical.  

Drake and Josh were in the kitchen talking all about it when they were overheard by Megan.

"What's going on?" Megan asked casually as she walked into the kitchen

"What's going on? Thanks to your little prank, we're being transferred to Casper high school in Amity Park." Josh told his sister

"Amity Park? Isn't that the place where mom and dad went for vacation?" Megan asked  

"Yeah and it's because of you!" Josh said, accusing his sister

"Oh come on. Josh is just scared because he thinks there are actual real ghosts that live there." Drake said

"Am not. Okay, maybe I am. It's just that you never know what can happen while we're there. Haven't you heard mom and dad talk about the place? The ghosts must be vicious I tell you... vicious!" Josh said, putting emphasis on vicious.
