Ghostly Encounters

Chapter thirteen

Danny was flying inside the ghost zone for a while. "Where could those boys be?", he thought.

Suddenly... 

"A ghost has been detected,"  the voice from the ghost tracker said.

"Ha! I knew this thing would work!" Danny said promptly before seeing who the ghost was. 

"Can I be your friend?!" A voice rang. Danny looked up to see who it was.

It was Kempler. The ghost was Kempler. Danny facepalmed himself. 

"Aw man, I really thought it was Vlad this time. Sorry dude, I have no time for this. I've got my own friends I need to rescue." Danny said

Danny thought that Kempler would react differently but he simply said, "Okay! Bye!"      

Danny looked at the ghost tracker. "I knew I should've reprogrammed this thing. It would be easier if it only tracked Vlad." 

Just as soon as he said this, the same voice said "A ghost has been detected."

Danny looked to where the tracker led him to. He noticed Vlad floating in front of the ghost dungeon. Danny also noticed Drake and Josh inside the said Dungeon.

"There they are. I gotta get them out of there, but how?" Danny said. He then noticed an object sitting on one of the floating rocks. It looked like one of his dad's inventions. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a chainsaw. Danny picked it up.

"Well that was convenient. Almost too convenient. I wonder who left a chainsaw in the ghost zone." Danny said before he noticed the word Fenton printed on the object. That's when a memory came back to him.

The memory: Danny was in the middle of fighting Skulker. "And now I shall have your pelt on my wall!" Skulker said. "Not today, other fruit loop!" And with that, Danny sucked Skulker into the ghost thermos. "That was a quick battle. I guess I didn't need this after all!" He said as he tossed the chainsaw. The chainsaw landed on a floating rock.

"Haha, oops." Danny said as he blushed  

"And that's how I cloned you two." Megan said. She was just finishing telling Drake and Josh how she managed to clone her brothers. Unknown to any of them, Danny was floating in the background. He could hear what they were saying. 

Taking her story in, Josh spoke up first. "So let me get this straight. Vlad let you borrow his cloning device after you made him a ghost tracker?"  

Vlad started feeling impatient. "Yes, that's pretty much it. Alright, that's enough." He said as the crystal ball turned into a laser. He pointed the thing right in front of Drake and Josh.

"Any last words before I shoot you both?" Vlad said with an evil grin

"Yeah. Can that thing shoot out pizzas? Because that would be awesome. Also, I'm really hungry." Drake said    

Josh gave Drake a look. "We're about to be blasted by an evil ghost and all you can think about is food? How can you think about food in a time like this?"
