Ghostly Encounters

Chapter fourteen

Without giving an answer, Vlad pointed the laser at the two boys and fired when an ecto blast coincided with Vlad's laser. 

"Hey fruit loop! Let them go! And give me back my necklace!" Danny shouted 

This made Vlad laugh. "Well, if it isn't Daniel. You want them? You'll have to go through me first." This started an epic fight scene between Danny and Vlad.   

Drake and Josh were looking at Danny as he fought Vlad. Josh was especially looking closely at Danny. He noticed something very familiar about the ghost boy.

"Hey, Drake, doesn't Danny look familiar to you?" Josh said.

"Yeah, it's that same ghost kid that we saw from school." Drake responded.

"No, I mean, doesn't he look like that other kid from school?" Josh said.

"Which kid?" 

"You know, Danny Fenton." 

Drake looked at Danny Phantom who was currently busy blasting Vlad with his ghost powers. Vlad was getting shoved into a wall when Drake said

"You know what, he does. Must be cool to look like the town's superhero." 

Josh had to agree with Drake. Although, he had this feeling that there was something more to Danny Phantom. Something that very few people know about Danny. He had a feeling that Danny was hiding a secret. Wait, what if Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom were the same person? Is that why Danny had to run to the bathroom? No way, he thought.

In the middle of the fight, Vlad had grown taller and more powerful with the crystal necklace around his neck. He was able to clone himself and multiple Vlads surrounded Danny. As Vlad taunted Danny, Danny focused on the necklace. He remembered the time he hid the gems from Freakshow. He wondered if he could do it again. As he focused on the necklace, he thought of a good place to hide the object. As soon as he thought about it, the necklace disappeared from sight. Vlad shrunk down to his normal size and returned to his normal self.   

"Not so powerful now without the necklace, are ya?" Danny said 

"That's where you're wrong, Daniel. I'm still just as powerful as before. I can prove it!" And with that, Vlad shot an ectoplasmic ray to Danny. Danny easily dodged it by becoming invisible. 

"Uhh, I can still prove it! I just need to retrieve the necklace." Vlad said as he moved closer to Danny. "You wait here and don't go anywhere... or else!" Vlad vanished dramatically as soon as he said the last part.
