Ghostly Encounters

Chapter seventeen

Thanks to the power from the necklace, Vlad grew three times his size and had Danny pinned against the wall. Danny tried to use his powers to fight Vlad, but it was no use. The necklace was making Vlad bigger and stronger. 

"I should've listened to Sam. There's no way I can get out of this now." Danny said to himself.

Unknown to Danny, Josh was watching him the whole time. 

"Hey, tough guy! Over here!" Josh shouted, referring to Vlad.

Vlad heard this and let go of Danny. While Vlad ran after Josh, Danny pulled out his thermos and sucked Vlad right into it.  

After that ghost fight, the class was allowed to walk back inside the school building. 

"Hey, thanks for saving me." Danny told Josh.

"No problem. You saved me and my brother. I wanted to do the same thing." Josh said gratefully.

Danny grinned. The school bell rang. 

"Oh, no. I gotta get to class. I mean, you gotta get to class. See you!" Danny said. And with that, Danny flew out of sight. That was odd but Josh shook it off. 

As the kids came back, Josh could see Drake except something was off about Drake. He didn't want to look at Josh. He stayed mad all the way back to their apartment. By the time, they were walking back from school, Josh had to say something. 

"Hey dude, if anything is bothering you, you know you can tell me, right?" Josh said. This went on for a few days. This made Josh feel upset. After a while, Drake spoke up. 

"Hey man, I'm not mad at you, okay?" 

"Really? Then why do you look angry so recently?" 

"That's because I feel mad at Megan. I mean, think about it. She's the reason we even got stuck in the ghost dungeon and almost got torn apart by Vlad. I think it's time we tell mom and dad about Megan." Drake explained. Josh felt relieved. 

"Dude, there's one problem, they're not gonna believe us."

"They will after I show them the cloning device that Megan used on us." Drake said

"Dude, you're the best." Josh said as the two hugged and made up.
