Chapter 19

Kristine's p.o.v

"Kristine can you go bring this to Daphne," Grandma asked me?

I nodded. Daphne got worst. Shes now only allowed to stay in her room. Technically in bed but still.

I climbed up. I saw her sleeping. Which she's been doing a lot lately.

"Daphne time to eat," I told her.

But there was no movement. Which was weird.

I walked closer placing the tray on her night stand. I shook her this time.

"Daphne," I said.

I felt no warmth.

"Daphne," I started to freak out.

I placed my head on her heart.

OMG no...

"Daphne please wake up," I started crying." UNCLE KUNI, GRANDMA, SOMEBODY HELP."

I yelled so much. No not yet.
It's not even the end of the summer.

I heard the door fly open.

Grandpa checked her. He nodded.

I cried harder. I can't believe this no.

I felt Uncle wrap his arms around me. Holding me crying in his arms.

I saw Thayer walk up to her. "DAPHNE NO PLEASE NO!!" He cried grabbing her and holding her in his arm.

I felt Cole wrap his arms in place of my uncles.

I kept crying and crying. Soon came guys with a gurney. They double checked.

"I'm sorry for your lost," they said.

I ran out of the house. I ran to one spot that no one knows. Now I wouldn't care if I got attack by that lion again.

I found the lake. Daphne and I would always go here.

I looked around.

Flashes of us appeared everywhere.

I couldn't take it. I punched the tree.

"Ow," I reacted after I punched the tree.

"Kristine," Cole called out as he stopped me and held my hand.
"Please stop."

I did and kept crying on his shoulder.

"I'm here for you Kristine, don't worry," Cole said comforting me.

If only it was that easy .
