Just Another Nobody (A Shawn Mendes Fanfic)

Chapter 11

I woke up around 9:45. I went downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal and went back up to my room. I checked my phone and I had 10 twitter notifications. I opened up twitter and all the notifications were from the guys. I guess Hayes had given them my twitter. Nine of the notifs was that each of them (including Sam) followed me , besides Shawn because I already had his follow. Then the last notif was a tweet I was mentioned in:

My @ still has 'Mendes' in it. Haha oh well, proves I'm a Shawn girl.

I finished my cereal and took a quick shower. After I got out of the shower, I put on my outfit for the day, which was a loose tan shirt and lightly faded jean shorts with American Eagle sandals (Shown above).

I checked my phone and had a missef call from Hayes 4 minutes ago. So I decided to call him back.

H: Helloo

M: Heyy, wassup

H: Oh me and the guys are gonna go hang out at the boardwalk and possibly the beach. Wanna come?

M: Yeah sure what time?

H: In about half an hour

M: Alright I'll meet you at your house

H: Kay Bye

M: Bye

I had half an hour to do my makeup and hair. I went into the bathroom and decided to wear a little bit of makeup considering we're probably going to the beach. I put on some concealer, water-proof mascara and light pink lip gloss.

I put my hair into a loose side braid, brushed ny teeth and put on some deodorent. I checked the time. I had about 8 minutes left to spare so I sprayed some perfume and to Hayes' house.

Hayes answered the door and we both rode our pennyboards to the hotel the guys were staying at.

When we got to the hotel, I called Shawn to see where if he was almost ready, and he was. So I walked up to Shawn and Taylor's room while Hayes went to Nash and Cam's room. I knocked on the door and a shirtless Taylor answered, "Oh hey Meg. Come on in," Taylor said as I walked in and sat next to Shawn on his bed. "Hey Megs" "Hey Shawn, whats up?" "Nothing much really, ay wanna go get some Starbucks real quick before we leave to the boardwalk?" "Yeah sure" I said as we were walking out of his hotel room. We had to cross the street in order to get to Starbucks so Shawn held my hand as we both ran across the street laughing.

We walked into Starbucks, still hand in hand. Which made my heart melt. We walked in and ordered, he got a mocha frappacino and I got a chocolate chip frappacino. We sat down at a table near the window and just talked, getting to know eachother.

Shawn got a phone call from Taylor and put it on speaker. "HEYYYY TAYY!!" Shawn and I yelled into the phone. "Hey where are you guys? the rest of us are ready to leave.. we're just waiting for you" "Meg and I came to get some Starbucks, we'll meet you guys at the boardwalk" "Alright bro bye" "BYEEEEE!!!" Shawn and I yelled again. We earned weird a confusing looks from the other people at Starbucks so we decided to leave, still laughing.

As we were walking out the door, one of the guys in line ordering was checking me out, and Shawn noticed, so he put his arm around me as we walked out. I guess he got jealous which made me blush. We started walking to the boardwalk, Shawn's arm still around me, and saw the guys walking ahead of us. "Ay wanna scare the guys?" Shawn asked me with a smirk." I nodded my head with a grin. "Okay on the count of three we run and scream towards them" Shawn said quietly. "One. Two. THREE!!!" We ran and jumped on their backs. I jumped on Hayes and Shawn jumped on Johnson, considering he was like best friends with him.

"AHHHH!!!!" all the guys screamed. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!?" Hayes asked me. "For-The-Hell-Of-It-" I said in between laughs.

We all continued to talk and joke around 'til we saw all the tides at the boardwalk. "Oh my gosh let's go!!!" I said pulling the first person to my right, which was Cameron. I didn't mind, he was like my older brother I never had. "Okay fineee" Cam complained.

Shawn's POV

We were all dizzy from the last ride. I was walking next to Megan and Taylor. I saw a ferris wheel and thought it would be cute if i rode the ferris wheel with her. I snapped back into my thoughts and realized all the guys went to the arcade. Megan was just wondering around behind them on her phone. I took this as an advantage to ask her to ride the ferris wheel with me. "Hey Meg would you wanna ride the ferris wheel to me?" I said trying to play it cool. "Yeah sure" I took her hand and we walked to the ferris wheel. We waited in line for about 3-4 minutes. We got on and sat next to eachother when we reached the top and stopped, we both looked at the view of the beautiful ocean. It was silent, but the good kind of silence. I grabbed her hand, and we both smiled at eachother. By now, I was more than sure I was blushing. And not many girls make me blush. There's just some special about her, Megan.
