Chapter 3

Megans POV

I woke up by the sound of my alarm, ugh I realized yesterday I forgot to turn off my school alarm. I let the song Life of the Party finish playing. Once it was done playing, I reached for my phone and turned off the alarm and fell back asleep.

//10:27 AM//

I slowly woke up, I checked my phone and saw that I had a text from Hayes. I unlocked my phone and texted Hayes back.

Hayes: Hey do you wanna hang out today?

Me: Yeah sure, what time?

Within a few minutes, he answered.

Hayes: Is 12:30 alright?

Me: Yeah I'll be ready by then

Hayes: Okay, I'll pick you up see you later

Me: Kay byee

I got up and took a quick shower, I threw on some black high waisted shorts and a loose, flowy light pink crop top. I also put on my white converse and made a few loose curls in my hair.

After I looked decent, I jogged downstairs and Camila was knocked out on the couch in the livingroom. I walked past her and into the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl, some Cinnamon Toast Crunch and milk. I poured a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table. As I ate, I opened up twitter and scrolled through my timeline.

Shawn had tweeted 3 minutes ago..
"We are leaving to go to our first stop of the Magcon tour!!Can't wait to meet more of our beautiful fans!"

I decided to tweet back at him just for the hell of it, knowing he wouldnt see my tweet.

"I can't wait to meet you in Houston in 3 weeks!! It's been my dream to have you in my arms. Love you😘"

I finished eating my cereal and went back upstairs. I checked the time-11:21. It felt like this day was going by so slow. I figured the day would go by faster if I listened to music, so I plugged in my headphones and the song 'A little too much' started playing. I closed my eyes and without realizing it, i fell asleep.

Minutes later, a text notification woke me up. It was from Hayes.

Hayes: Hey I'm on my way..see you in a few minutes✌

I replied 'Okay see you then' I sat on my bed, wondering what we wete gonna do. Before I knew it, i heard a car honk outside my window. I looked outside and saw Hayes in his red 2014 mustang. I grabbed my purse, house keys and phone then headed downstairs and outside to Hayes' car.

The ride was silent, except for the time we said 'Hey' to eachother. What made it not awkward though was the radio playing. All of a sudden, 'A Little Too Much'. Like a normal fangirl, I started freaking out and screaming. I was so caught up in the moment that I had forgotten Hayes was in the car with me. He just started laughing and told me, "I guess you're a Shawn girl right?" "Yep" By the time I knew it, we had arrived to Starbucks. We went inside, ordered our drinks and went back to the car. As Hayes started driving, I asked him,"So where are we going now?" "Home to watch some netflix, you up for it?" "Yeah sure.." I replied. We started watching some netflix at my house, then Hayes left around 9:45 because he was tired.

My phone beeped and I saw I got 3 twitter notifications. I unlocked my phone and saw that my notifications were all Shawns. One was he favorited my tweet that i sent earlier, another was he replied back to me saying,"@meganxxmendes Awesomee I can't wait to meet you in Houston babe!!! 😘💖" By then I was already majorly fangirling and the next notification was he followed me. My jaw dropped and I started screaming so loud that i would probably loose my voice the next day. Anyways, after 15 more minutes on twitter, I ended up falling asleep.
