Megans POV
It was 4:56 PM. I started getting ready for the date with Shawn at 5:45. Leaving me with about an hour to get ready and head to the park.
I texted Shawn to see if it was casual or formal and he said a casual.
So I put on a pair of light wash skinny jeans and a dark blue flowy blouse along with some black and white polka dot keds. I put my hair in a somewhat messy braid and started putting on my makeup.
By the time I was finished getting ready, it was 5:38. I went on twitter for a while, following back some of my followers. Around 5:40, I grabbed my phone, clutch, and my room key and walked out as I locked the door.
It took me about three minutes to get to the park. I looked around multiple times. No signs of Shawn. I sat on a bench and went on instagram as i decided to wait. Seconds later, a pair of familiar arms wrapped themselves around me from behind.
"Hello there Ms. Garcia." Shawn greeted me. "Hello to you too Mr. Mendes" I said as I turned around revealing a nicely dressed Shawn. I stood up and intertwined hands as we walked towards all the buildings.

Shawn surprised me when we showed up to Main Event. We played laser tag, bowling, and did a few obstacle courses. I won laser tag and he beat me at bowling. Afterwards we ate dinner at the hotel by ordering chinese takeout. "Thanks for everything Shawn.." I told him as we finished the takeout food. "Hey, no problem." He reassured me. I gave him a hug as we walked towards the door.
When we let go from the hug, we both looked into eachothers eyes while i was still in his arms. Shawn looked at my eyes, then my lips, then back at my eyes and back at my lips again. Slowly, he started to lean in closer and so did I. Eventually, our lips crashed and it felt like magic. I felt all the sparks.
After what seemed like forever we both pulled back slowly and smiled a little. I felt myself blushing and turning red. This was my first kiss ever, and it felt amazing.
Sorry that I haven't uploaded in more than a week. I've had cheer and tumbling classes everyday and I'm exhausted. I also have no more ideas for this book so please bare with me for the times I don't update. I really and truly am sorry for not posting a chapter. Sorry and love all you beautiful people 💖
