I smiled and inhaled the smell of lavender, before throwing my duvet back and standing up.

My room was pretty much done. We worked so hard these past few days so it would be done for my first day of school, which was today by the way.

The walls were still white, but now a classy chandelier was hanging on the ceiling. My duvet was pale pink with white designs. Pink accents were thrown about the room, like the pink chair in the corner, and the pink Mac book on my desk. A painting of a pink flower hung above my tv. The room was classy, and I loved that.

I walked over to my closet, and looked at the outfit I had picked out. (Picture on side/top I don't feel like describing). After I got dressed, I walked over to my pale pink bathroom. I curled my hair into loose beach waves, and did my usual makeup. I then grabbed my phone and leather back pack, full of school books, and ran down the four flights of stairs. I grabbed an apple from the kitchen, said goodbye to Tom, my mom, and the servants, and I was on my way to Oceanview High School. The drive was only fifteen minutes.

Oceanview was your typical high school. I was here yesterday, when I met with the principal and got my schedule and stuff, and also had a tour. That way I would understand where I was going.

I pulled my Mini Cooper into a parking space somewhat close to the front entrance, and pulled the key out of the ignition. So this would be my school for the next two years.

I walked in through the doors, and the strong smell of coffee and textbooks filled my nose.

A few people looked at me, trying to figure out if I was an old freshmen, or if I was new.

I just smiled and walked to the third floor, where most junior lockers and classrooms were.I half heartedly through my bag in my locker, grabbed my pre-calc book.

I entered a small classroom, room 307, and sat down at a desk sort of towards the back. I was a few minutes early, so I just watched the people around me.

A pretty blonde girl sat down next to me and smiled.

"hey, I'm Lia. You're new, right?" She asked.

I smiled back. Lia's blonde hair and pretty features reminded me a lot of Emily.

"Yeah! I'm Andria," I replied.

Lia leaned over and looked on my desk, peering at me schedule.

"We have almost every class together, except for physics. But my friends Julia is in that class, and she's super nice," Lia said.

I opened my mouth to reply, just as the teacher walked into the classroom.

"And this is the cafeteria," Lia said, opening the red doors. "You can sit with my friends and I, if you want. They're super nice don't worry."

Lia was so full of energy it was overwhelming. She led me through the cafeteria, as tons of people called out to her. Damn, she's popular.

We eventually stopped at a table near the back, where three girls were sitting.

"Hey! Guys this is Andia," Lia said to them, sitting down.

"Hi! I'm Dana," A pretty redhead said.

"I'm Gigi," A short blonde said, her mouth full of food. The brunette sitting next to her laughed.

"Don't mind her," She said. "She's just always hungry."

Gigi rolled her eyes.

"I'm Julia." The brunette smiled.

I smiled back.

"So Andria what brings you to LA?" Dana asked.

"My mom is getting married and the guy lives around here," I replied. They all nodded.

"Oh! JC is having a party tomorrow. We have to go," Lia spoke up.

"JC is her boyfriend," Julia explained. "He's a senior and a total pothead."

"Is not!" Lia spoke up.

I laughed. I like these girls.

"Hey," I said, With a sudden burst of confidence. "My mom and soon to be step-dad are looking at paint swatches all day. They won't be home and I'll have the place to myself. You guys want to come over after school?"

"Sure! Sounds fun!" The girls exclaimed.

Wow. Andria Ryan, making friends.

"So you're saying you have the whole floor to yourself?" Gigi asked in disbelief.

I nodded.

"And check out this closet!" Dana called.

Julia and Lia plopped down on my bed.

"Your house is amazing," Lia gushed.

"Yeah, I'm still getting used to it," I laughed.

"Where did you move from?" Julia asked.

"Omaha, Nebraska," I replied wistfully, remembering my life there.

Dana ran into my room from my closet.

"You're kidding!"

"What?"

Lia grinned. "We're just kind of obsessed with these boys from there.."

No.

Not my boys, right?

"Obsessed?" Julia scoffed. "Please. They're our life."

"Especially Jack G," Gigi smiled, running into the room.

Oh lord.

"Did you know them?" Lia asked, standing up.

"Uh..."

"Of course not, dimwad," Julia said, throwing a pillow at her.

"Nash is the cutest," Dana said and grinned like a little school girl.

Aw Nash would love her.

"I think Sammy is hot," Lia winked.

"Please, It's totally Jack G. I bet he's good in bed," Gigi smirked.

I nearly choked.

"Shut up, all of you. It's Matt," Julia argued.

They confined fighting over who the cutest boy was, until eventually, Lia turned to me.

"Who do you think is the cutest?" She asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know."

Talking about Jack was making my heart break. But, I wasn't going to let these girls know Jack and I dated, or that i was friends with the other boys. They would obviously treat me differently.

So I would hide my past life.

How hard could it be?
