FIVE YEARS LATER:
Jack:
I locked my Range Rover and pulled an old sweatshirt over my head. It's like, November. Why is it so cold? Omaha isn't supposed to be this cold. I was used to the warm California sunshine. Definitely not this.
I kept my head down and headed into the restaurant, taking a seat at the bar
"Can I get you anything?" The bartender asks.
I sigh. "Just a beer. Whatever you've got."
He nods. I tap my fingers against the bar and sigh. Where the hell is Johnson? He's always late.
Just then, the short blonde runs in. "I'm here, sorry. Emily was having...issues."
I laugh. "That's expected of a bride so close to her wedding day."
"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, let's talk. Did you set up a date for Drew?"
Drew Dylan was a young singer we had found in LA. He reminded me of myself, so Johnson and I set up a date for him to meet up with us at one of our recording studios. Did I mention that? We're music producers now. Always looking for young talent.
"Yeah, it's all set up. After your honeymoon, of course," I chuckled, slapping him on the back.
"If we even still have the wedding," Johnson chortled softly, and odered a beer.
"Trouble in paradise?"
"I don't know man, we're 23. Is that too young to be settling down? It feels like just yesterday we were 18 and in love, and now, we're getting ready to he married. Married, bro," He said.
I nodded. I could definitely understand. As Mr. One Night Stand Himself, I couldn't imagine being settled down to one girl. For the rest of my life, too. But I knew Johnson could do it. If anyone could, it would be him.
"You'll be fine," I reassured him. "If you love her, that's all that matters."
"Yeah man, I guess you're right. Emily's just all worked up. I'm so relieved Andria is coming into town today. She'll be able to calm Emily," Johnson replied.
I coughed, choking on the beer I was swallowing. "A-Andria?"
"Emily's best friend? You remember who Andria is, right?" Either Jonson forgot about what Andria and I had, or he's choosing to ignore it. I figured it was the latter.
"Dude? Are you still with me here? Do you remember her?"
I closed my eyes. I couldn't believe Johnson was asking such a silly question. Sure, it's been five years, but I would never ever forget Andria.

AlexandriaI rang the doorbell and shifted on the steps, tightening my Burberry coat around my body. At least it's not as cold as New York this time of year.
"There she is!" Johnson yelled, as he opened the door. "Miss Editor-In-Chief of Vogue magazine!"
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my Louis Vuitton duffel. "Just let me in the house," I said with a smile.
Johnson grinned and grabbed my bag for me, leading me inside.
"Where's Emily?" I asked, taking my boots off.
"Upstairs," Johnson replied, gesturing to the staircase.
I nodded and began to walk upstairs, but turned around and quickly engulfed Johnson in a hug.
"I missed you," I mumbled. He nodded.
"Me too. We all did," He said softly.
I didn't want to ask him what he meant by this, so I just pulled away and ran upstairs to greet the bride to be.
"EMILY!" I screamed, throwing the door open.
"DRIA!" She yelled, running towards me and hugging me. Sure, Emily and I went to the same college and we see each other all the time, but I hadn't seen her in a few months, since she came back to Omaha.
"How are you!?" I screamed, pulling away, scanning her up and down. "You look amazing!"
"Blame it on this stupid juice cleanse I've been on for what feels like an eternity," Emily laughs and says. I roll my eyes playfully.
"You didn't need to go on a juice cleanse you twig!"
"Please, look at you! Did you get even more gorgeous in four months?"
I laughed. I missed this girl.
"God, we really haven't changed from the teenagers we used to be," I commented, and flopped onto the big, white, bed.
"I am soon to be a married woman," Emily scoffed playfully, and placed a hand on her heart. "And you dare compare me to a teenager?"
"You are marrying the boy you loved as a teenager," I reminded her, pulling my hair into a ponytail.
Emily shrugged and climbed onto the bed next to me. "Speaking of love, how are things in your love life?" She asks, which makes me groan.
"I feel like I'm stuck in an episode of Sex and the City," I said. "I'm having nothing but these meaningless flings, you know? I want to meet someone, I want to fall in love. You're getting married, Nash already has baby on the way...I mean, yeah, we're young, but I already have everything else I could want- my dream job, an amazing apartment...all I need now is to meet the love of my life."
"What If you already met him," Emily said softly.
"No guys I know have that potential," I remarked.
"What about Jack?" Emily mumbled.
I gulped.
I was hoping she wouldn't mention him.
