Jack G's P.O.V-
"Bro, that's not how you're supposed to do it," Nash laughed, and hit Cam on the arm.
Cam rolled his eyes.
"sorry I'm not a pussy who can make yarn bracelets like you, Nash," He replied.
I laughed and threw my shitty yarn bracelet down.
"This is bullshit and stupid. Why are we doing this?" I asked.
Nash shrugged.
"Would you rather be in dance?"
"I'm probably a lot better at dancing than knotting yarn," I replied.
"God I wished we had our phones. we could totally make a hilarious Vine together..." Cam sighed.
"Vine?? Bro, I love vine," I said.
"I remember seeing some of your vines. they're pretty funny," Nash replied.
"Thanks," I grinned.
Just then a door in the arts and crafts room opened, and Andria walked in. Dozens of little kids ran towards her, screaming her name and trying to show her things.
"Oh my goodness, how pretty!" she said to a small girl, holding up a painting.
She's so beautiful; inside and out. She's so sweet and funny and I am falling so hard for her. it's been about a week since our kiss, which means we have three weeks of camp left. Ever since that one kiss, things have been different. We've gotten closer...mentally and physically, if you catch my drift. Most nights during free break, we sneak off to the lookout, a cliff edge that over looks the lake, and talk. Talking then leads to other things, but we've never gotten farther than kissing. which makes sense...we've only known each other for about a month. I want to ask her to be mine, but not until we get home and I take her out and stuff. Asking her to be my girlfriend at a camp is pretty sketchy.
"Hey," She whispered, sitting down next to me.
"Hey," I leaned over and whispered back.
"Hey Nash, hey cam," She called to them.
"Hey," they both replied.
"You're hanging out with Cam?" She asked quietly.
"Yeah," I shrugged. "He's nice."
She just nodded. She seemed kind of distant from Cam. I knew they had history, but I thought they were chill now.
"Yo, my bitches," Sam called from across the room. He was standing with Andria's friend Emily. huh. I didn't even know he was in here.
Sam and Emily joined our little group, and everyone started talking all at once. I didn't really pay attention to their conversations. I was just paying attention to Andria. Her smile. Oh god- her laugh. she's the most amazing person I've ever met and I don't know what I would do without her.
"You really like her," Emily whispered to me. I looked over to her and grinned.
"Yeah...I do," I replied.
"Just don't hurt her, okay? she's been through her fair share of pain."
I looked at Emily.
"Why does everyone keep saying that?" I asked. "What the fuck happened to her?"
Emily gave me a small smile.
"She's going to be just fine now, Jack. She has you."
