LEO could hardly belobe the words that had left the child's mouth. He cocked his head to the side, begging for her to silently repeat.

"How does one get a child?" the child repeated. Her black hair was twisted into two pigtails and she was dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. She had the same brown eyes as her father, Leo.

"Uhm."

The older boy behind Leo snickered. He was laying on the couch, a book in his hands. But his sisters question had knocked his attention of the pages.

"Valerie, what." Leo asked. He dipped down, picking up the ten year old child. He moved towards the couch and sat beside his oldest child. He placed Valerie on his knee, turning her head towards him gently.

"I was at school today and one of my friends told me her mother had a child." Valerie mumbled, "I was wondering, where the child comes from."

The silence that folloaed lead Valerie to continue with her next sentence, "Like POOF! A child."

Alex , who was next to Leo, let out a snort. Leo turned towards him and sent him a glare. This only made him laugh harder.

"Yeah Dad, how."

"Uhm."

Valerie continued to look up at him with her wide eyes. She was the picture of innocence at the moment but her question left Leo speechless. Alex, who was red from laughing, was not helping.

"So, a male has to put their...uh—."

"Leo! There's banana's at the back for Valerie." the voice of his lovely wife came.

Leo flushed and Alex let out a wheeze.

"Yeah, yeah. Banana." Leo stammered, "Innocent banana, yummy banana."

Leo picked up Valerie and walked her towards the kitchen, "But dad—."

"Oh my gods! It's a banana!"
