I leant my head on his shoulder, my hair falling carelessly to the front of my face and my eyes fluttering shut. I heard him sigh, run a hand through his hair and then tilt his head to look at me.

My gaze was blurry and my heart was beating at a tremendously quick speed. I couldn't hear the cars that raced by or the deafening squeaks the crickets were making.I could only hear his breathing.

Once in, once out, repeat.

He cupped my face with his jaw and angled it upwards. I'm sure I looked like a mess. I was completely and utterly drenched by the rain. It was still pouring, layers and layers of water belting downwards harshly, flooding the levelled panes of ground.

My hair was wet and stringy, my mascara stained and my cheeks a horrid pink. He looked beautiful though. His hair was plastered against his forehead and he had the ghost of a smile playing on his lips. His blue eyes were glued on my face. With every breath he took, the more of me he took in.

He dipped low, just enough for our lips to brush against each other's. He was breathing heavily now, but me? I could hardly breathe. My adrenaline was rushing, bursting, exploding. I couldn't think, I couldn't feel, I couldn't function.

He seemed to have had a sudden realisation because he moved a few centimetres back. He hesitated, he let out a breathe and two words left his lips :

"Screw it."

His lips were on mine a second later. He was devouring me, kissing me like it was the last day on earth. He was pressed against my body, all of him on all of me. His hands made their way to my waist, pulling me closer and closer.

We were standing suddenly, my hands hooked around his neck and my lips still on his.

He pulled away, his gaze flickering towards the rain.

A wicked smirk tool over his lips, a devastating grin that made my knees buckle and my heart race as if I was a child.

"Yes."

It was only one word that I said. But it was enough for him to drag me under the rain.

His hands were on my face again, swiping under my eyes. He brushed all the droplets of water away and then he pressed his lips on mine against.

My heart was about to explode. I was having too much fun.

The rain thrashed around us, completely soaking us but I could care less.

It was just us right now. Us against the world now, us against the world forever.

He pressed his forehead against mine and he had a stupid smile that made my heart flutter all over again. He pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead. He inhaled, moved downwards and kissed my nose. He kissed my cheeks, both of them and then kissed me again.

"I love you so so so much." he whispered. He gently took my hand in his, curling his pinky around my own. He brought it to his lips and  brushed it against our fingers, "You and I forever, darling."

My lips exploded into a toothy grin and I nodded aggressively, violently, desperately, "You and I forever."
