AFEW MINUTES HAVE PASSED, It was finally your turn. "Hola, Y/n. I am so sorry about Carlos." Julieta apologized. "No worries, Julieta." The young woman said while nodding in affirmation. "I hope you don't mind me asking, Y/n. But, what happened?" Julieta asked

- - Y/n's pov - -

I looked back at the ground, I was to ashamed to answer. My mouth opened, although, no words came out. "If your not comfortable with answering, you don't have to tell me." Julieta added "N- No! No! I- I can tell you." I stuttered "Ok, then. Go on." Julieta said while getting ready more arepas for the other injured villagers.

"So, basically I was heading to the library while reading my book then, Carlos motioned his leg to my direction of where I was going. I fell and he just kept on laughing at me. So, I grabbed the book in my hand and slapped him with my book.." I said in one breath, Julieta clicked her tongue and apologized again for his behavior "Y/n, I am truly sorry for what happened. but, hitting him with your book won't make the situation any better." Julieta scolded "Yeah, I'm sorry for that... I promise I wont do it again." I said with a slight chuckle 

Julieta gave me an arepa and I thanked her. "Even after what happened between you and Carlos, will you still be attending Antonio's gift ceremony?" Julieta said while I consumed the arepa, healing both my bruised arm and leg. I nodded my head as a 'yes.' The hardworking woman smiled at my response. We both said our good byes and went on with our day

I walked my way to my mothers shop with my book in my hand. Once I was inside I opened the store. Not so long after, someone rushed inside. "Andre?" I said tilting my head, The figure got closer to my vision. "Hey, Y/n!" The figure said. It was Andre. "Oh, hello, Andre!" I said while noticing the holes on his shirt "Who did you get into a fight with this time?" I said with my hands on my hips "The market owners son.. Can you believe that they raised the price from 50 to 100 pesos??!!?!" He exclaimed "Wow.... How unbelievable" I said, rolling my eyes playfully while chuckling "Its not funny!"

"There! We're  done!" I said letting go of the needle. I gave Andre more space to move since I was finally finished, He was grabbing some money from his pocket "Don't worry, Andre. Its on the house." I said with a smile "Since the market unbelievably raised up the price" I continued while bursting out laughing "Ha ha, funny" He said sarcastically "Thanks, Y/n. By the way, wanna hang out tomorrow after Antonio's gift ceremony?" Andre then continued "Sure! I don't think my parents would mind!"

Andre smiled and thanked you again for fixing his shirt. We both talked for a bit while waiting for more customers. A while after someone rudely pushed away Andre from your sight, you stared up looking at who it was

'Carlos?!?? What does this guy want now?'  I thought to my self, "You again?" He said with an annoyed tone while bringing something in front of the counter. 'It looked like clothes. Yeah, well duh, Y/n!' It looked like it was torn up by a bear, hell! Maybe it was! "Fix it" He said "Umm.. Can't you ask your prima Mirabel to fix it up for you?" I said while tiling my head in confusion "She's already useless enough. No gift, no door, nothing. Don't get me wrong, I obviously don't care for her but, if she saw this she'd be heartbroken." He said leaning his clothes closer to me

"Alright then.." I said getting the clothes and a needle. Once I was going to start I saw his figure heading out of the door, I quickly stood up and called his name. "Carlos, where are you going? Can't you just stay here? It wont take long." I said 

"Hmm, no." He said with a smirk "You looking all over for me would be a lot more fun." With that he left. I sighed 'What a pain he is..'

I finally finished fixing up his clothes, I looked at the clock, 10:50am. 'I guess I should look for him now" I put his clothes in a basket and closed my mothers shop. I was walking to the Casita, Hoping that he would be there. I was welcomed by an old lady wearing A dark magenta dress. "Hola, Y/n" the old lady said "Hola, Señora" I said with a smile, she seemed to notice the basket "What brings you here?" Señora Alma said locking her eyes on mine

"Oh, I'm actually looking for, Carlos. Is he here? I need to bring him this." I said, Although Señora Alma did not look so pleased with my answer, but she just hid it with a fake smile "Ok, He's up his room." She said motioning me into the Casita "thank you, Señora!" I said and quickly went upstairs 

I finally saw Carlos' door *knock**knock*  "Come in!" Carlos said, I opened the door and saw him sitting on his bed. But he stood up and walked towards me once he saw me

He snatched the basket away from me 'rude...'  I thought while rolling my eyes "You can go now, Bye." He said trying to push me away from his room "Hmm, No" I said with a big grin on my face, he looked so pissed "I'll leave once you give me my money" I said putting my hand closer to his face while motioning him to give me the money "Hah! You expect ME, Carlos Madrigal. To give YOU money??!!?" He said laughing, I rolled my eyes again "I don't to this for free, you know?" I glared at Carlos

"Ugh" He groaned "I don't have any money right now. So, here's this I guess.." With that he grabbed a pearl bracelet with a wooden heart from his night stand, he then forwarded the bracelet to me, I carefully took it "How did you get this?" I said while examining the bracelet

"Oh, I stole it" He said with a shrug "WHAT!?!?!?!" My jaw dropped, I was to stunned to speak, Carlos just laughed "Why would you do that??!?!?" I yelled at him "Do you really think that low of me?" He chuckled "I didn't actually steal it" He said flicking my forehead "It was from my brother, he gave it to me. He said that 'It WAs fRom oNE of His fAn GiRLs.' or whatever" he said, shifting into his brother and mocking him, while laughing even more

"Oh, Alright then.." I said not really trusting what he said, But before I could say anything else he just pushed me away from him room "Uh, bye I guess?" I said while he slammed the door closed

Ok, screw what I said about 700 words being the longest chapter I would ever make. Not going to lie, I really didn't like this chapter a lot. What do you think? Btw, this is how the bracelet looks like (except the heart is wooden)
