Analeese and I have been friends for a week, only a week. Yet, for some reason, it feels like we've been friends for our entire life. I bet if we told everyone that, they'd easily believe it. Why? Well, because we dress alike, we act alike, we make the same facial expressions at the exact same time, and we were always together. There was rarely a time when we weren't seen together. When we went somewhere, we always invited each other, even if it was for a simple trip to the grocery store. In fact, we're on our way to the grocery store at this very moment.
After Annie spent the night, when she woke up in the morning, she decided to make breakfast for me. What was supposed to be a special, heartfelt moment, was utter hell for me, well, the beginning of it was at least.
"Alyxe, how are you surviving with no food in your fridge? You don't have any spices, any drinks, it's so empty." Analeese scolded.
"Well, we are always eating out for lunch and I can last until lunch the next day, " I admitted.
Shouldn't have said that.
"Alyxe, that's not healthy!!" Analeese exclaimed, "That's like torture, a total death sentence."
"Annie, there's no need to make a big deal out of this, I appreciate your concern, but it's really not that deep." I sighed.
"Alyxe, look, I know it seems like I'm overreacting, granted, I probably am. But, you're my only friend here and I refuse to let you die from starvation. So, guess what we're doing after breakfast?!"
Her sudden happiness scared me. She was so unpredictable and of course, that made her more fun in my opinion, she was also scary, especially when she didn't mean to be. I raised an eyebrow at her, wondering what she could've possibly had in mind for us.
"We're going grocery shopping!" She exclaimed, while clapping her hands with excitement. "We're going to fill this entire kitchen up with food! You're gonna love it!"
She seemed so sure about her statement, it was cute that she worried about me. Or maybe it was just cute because I didn't have a lot of love and affection shown to me growing up. Like I mentioned before, my mom was the worst, she basically hated me for no apparent reason.
"Fine," I sighed. It's not like I could say no to her anyway.
"Yayy! Omg, I have to go get dressed, what am I going to wear? Should I put on makeup? Should I straighten my hair? Should I keep it curly and style it?-"
"Woah, woah, calm it down, bratzy. I thought we were going to the food market, why does any of that matter?" I asked her. I was honestly so confused as to why her appearance mattered when she was going to a grocery store.
"Lyxeeee," she whined. I loved when she whined my name like that. It was so freaking adorable. "It's not just a grocery store trip. It's an adventure for the both of us. We have to look our best everywhere we go. What if someone decides to sneak a picture of us because they want some outfit inspo? But, when they see us in sweats and tank tops, they're going to be so disappointed because they wanted to try something new but couldn't find any inspo? Do you really want to disappoint the younger generations? Have some humanity, Alyxe."
I laughed at her response, "A-Annie" I couldn't control my laughter. I'd never met someone who was so worked up about a grocery store trip. She even basically said I didn't have any humanity because I hadn't thought the situation through like she had. As far as I was concerned, we were going to the store to find worthless stuff that would fill up my fridge, cabinets, and pantry. "We don't have to inspire the younger generation. If they want some inspo, they can go on Pinterest or Instagram or something-"

Romance"Tell me if this hurts, Annie." Alyxe said, softly nibbling on her skin. At first, Analeese was confused as to why the small nibbles would hurt her, but she soon realized that the small nibbles weren't what she had to worry about. "Fuck." Analeese...
