The pills weren't working anymore. I knew this day would come. I knew the day would come when my sickness would overcome me and take control over me. I just wish... I just wish I'd gotten to spend more time with Alyxe. With the true love of my life.
"Annie, are you okay?" Alyxe asked, knocking on the bathroom door. I tried to keep quiet, but my sobs wouldn't die down. Or rather, the echo wouldn't let me get away with crying.
"I'm fine, Lyxe, just go away." I replied.
But, of course, he didn't. He used the key that we kept on top of the door frame and unlocked the door.
Blood. So much blood.
I wasn't afraid though. I knew this would come back to haunt me eventually. My only regret is that now Alyxe knows about it, he knows that I'm sick. That sometime in the near future, I might die.
"Annie, can you tell me exactly what's wrong? Why you're coughing and throwing up so much blood?" Alyxe pleaded, holding Analeese's hair in a ponytail.
"I have a disease, I was diagnosed back when I was around seven years old." I said breathlessly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Alyxe asked, his tears falling. Loads of feelings were flowing through his veins right now. Sadness, depression, betrayal, but most of all, worry.
"I didn't want you to worry about me. I wanted us to have a happy life.."
"And what do you think I'm doing right now, Annie?" Alyxe's voice cracked. "I'm worrying about you."
"Then don't." I said in a sad voice.
"Annie, do you realize what you're asking me to do?" Alyxe inquired, his voice cracking and tears beginning to fall, "You're asking me to not care about the light of my life, the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, I-I can't just-"
He couldn't finish his sentence because he was now sobbing.
I felt my heart break in millions of pieces, seeing him cry was a sad sight, a devastating one. A sight I didn't want to see. My body answered my silent call for it to help me avert my eyes and in a flash, my head was turned back towards to toilet where I continued to puke out my entire existence.
"I'm calling an ambulance for you, don't move," Alyxe said, running to the front door, holding his phone to his ear.
About ten minutes later, two paramedics came rushing into the bathroom, where I sat on the floor, still following Alyxe's orders.
One paramedic was shining a bright light in my face, my eyes couldn't take the brightness and began burning, not sure if that's a normal reaction or not.
"Clear." the paramedic said, looking back at his partner and nodding. "Ma'am, we're going to carefully put you on the stretcher, please try your best to relax."

Romance"Tell me if this hurts, Annie." Alyxe said, softly nibbling on her skin. At first, Analeese was confused as to why the small nibbles would hurt her, but she soon realized that the small nibbles weren't what she had to worry about. "Fuck." Analeese...
