"What's gone?!" Said Jake
"My laptop!"
"Are you sure you haven't left it anywhere?" Asked Hailey
"I never even let it out on the way here!" He replied
"But...our beat for the competition!"
"I have it on a usb, but without my laptop, I won't be able to produce any more!"
Hailey looked at him concerned
"Alright...Luke, Zander, and Milly, you check this floor. Me, Jake, and Sean will look at the second"
"Why me with them?!" Complained Milly
"Hey!"
"Just, keep the PDA to a minimum..."
"Excuse me?! When have I showed PDA?!"
"You sure you can handle them?"
"I'm sure" replied Luke
Jake POV:
We looked everywhere! And still can't find it!"
"After the clothing store...where did we go next?"
"I think we went to the gaming store? Where we were listening to the elevator music?"
"Oh yeah, you're such a dork"
"I know you enjoyed it"
I looked at Sean, who was still quite upset
"Maybe you left it here?"
"Sigh...wish me luck"
He said before he went in
Just then, I saw Drew with his gang!
I had to hide!
"Hailey, over here!"
I said as I pulled her aside
"What-?"
"Shh! Be quiet!"
I waited for them to go away
But eventually, they went to the clothing store

Milly POV:
I went up the elevator and saw...

And he was kabadoning Hailey!
"Whatcha doin?"
"Milly! You gave me a heart attack!"
I simply laughed
"And, sorry about that, Hailey!"

Oh, it's the PDA couple again
"Where'd you run off to?"
"Hey! I'm an independent woman who can go by herself, y'know!"
"You're an independent pain in the arse is what you are"
"Oh! And we saw the mon- your friends, Jake!"
"Ooohhh...so that's who you were hiding from a minute ago! So that's why you pushed me against the wall so suddenly?"
"Oh yeah! I caught him kabadoning her against that wall, I thought they were gonna kiss!"
Zander looked mad

"It's not like that! I was hiding from them, remember?"
"Why'd you hide from your friends?"
"I sorta...ditched them today. I told them I was grounded and that they couldn't see me here!"
"Aww! You chose us! See, Zander! He knows we're his real squad fam!"
"Stop trying to make squad fan happen, it's not gonna happen"
"Zander...what are those shopping bags?! Did you even bother looking!"
"We did! But there was a sale on for ties and Heather's sweaters!"
"I'm glad shopping went well, how about finding?"
BOOM! ROASTED!
"No..none of the stores had any missing laptops"
We saw Sean get back. And I kinda feel bad for him
"Find it?"
"No...thanks for the help anyway..."
Jake POV:
"Hey Sean!"
"Hm?"
"I have a computer I don't use, you could keep it!"
"A-are you-"
"Serious? Yeah!"
"Thank you, Jake!"
"That's what friends do right?"
"SEAN! WE FOUND YOUR LAPTOP!"
