(MARTINUS POV)

guilt, regret, sadness, every negative emotion built upon me when i saw y/n on a hospital bed.

we were driving to the hospital, sirens were heard that's all.

marcus had his hands intertwined,, his chin on top, he was clearly nervous.

the lady who had agreed to let us on was trying to clean y/ns face carefully, making sure she is ready for the hospital.

as the lady cleaned y/ns face, she also tested her blood to see what blood type she was.

"Y/N Andersson, blood type AB- the rarest blood type, she is in need of blood donations" the lady said to a walkie talkie.

"i'm afraid no one in the hospital has the same blood type" are the words heard from the walkie talkie 2 minutes after.

"i think we have that blood type.." marcus whispered to me.

"ma'am, me and my brother have the same blood type as y/n"

the lady's face lit up.

"amazing, i'm glad i allowed you two on the ambulance. when we get to the hospital, we will double check your blood to make sure it is the correct blood, we will take quite a lot of blood too, so exercising is a must as soon as you leave the hospital."

"that is no problem to us!" marcus said, his face lightened up, even though the tragic sight of y/n made us both emotional.

they took our blood sample, tested it (we were luckily the same blood type) and took quite a lot of blood.

me and marcus felt lightheaded, but were offered pills to help us.

we had to wait for y/n to be discharged though, so we had waited in the waiting area, and the nurses said that if we felt light headed, we should tell them and that we would be under "good hands".

we waited 6 hours for y/n.
it was 7pm, and the lady came out to us, called our name and led us to the room in which y/n had been in.

we entered the room and she looked so much better. her nose wasn't so crooked anymore, and her skin is less pale than it was before.

but she was still asleep.

"y/n has had a surgery, her nose may appear more smaller, but that's because we replaced her broken bridge with a metal nose bridge. she is drugged so don't be suprised when she says weird things" she chuckles. "and i wanted to thank you two for possibly saving her life, without your blood samples, there would've been a high chance of blood loss and death, unless we would have found a way to help her."

me and marcus were so proud of eachother.

the lady left the room so it was only me, y/n and marcus in the room.

"marcus?"  i said.

"yeah?" he said, looking up after looking at y/n for a while.

"i'm really sorry.." i said.

"i dont think that's a good enough apology after putting someone's life at risk"

"okay, i'm really really sorry, i know these words may not be enough, but throughout this whole day i felt so much guilt. i shouldn't have tried to punch you right in front of y/n, without considering the fact that she used it be abused and that this incident definitely traumatised her"
marcus nodded "that's better, but you should also apologise to her when she's NOT on drugs"

"will do" i said, shaking his hand as a way of saying he forgives me.

he smiled.

he went back to looking at y/n, moving her hair strands behind her ear and playing with her hair.

eventually, she started to slowly open her eyes, her eyes were red, but knowing that she was on drugs, we weren't suprised.

"y/n.." me and marcus both said.

a nurse came in shortly after, adjusting the breathing mask and preparing food for y/n.

"huh" she said.

she looked around.

i'm praying she remembers us..

"where am i..." she said.

"in a hospital room." marcus said, his face all serious, he also hopes y/n doesn't forget about him.

"marcus... m-martinus.." she said.

"aw.." the lady said, "it's a suprise she remembers you two, people usually forget names when drugged and especially after a life risking accident.."

y/n listened to the lady.

"i love them, that's why, i'd never, EVER (she yells through her breathing mask), forget about these two amazing boys" after she said "amazing boys" she attempted to touch our cheeks.

me and marcus giggled out of happiness, both of us turning red.

"okay, you can eat this lunch, i will check your pulses after and then discharge you if the pulse is on the average"

"okay love" y/n said, saying 'love' like 'low-f' as everyone giggled.

"marcus, is it okay if you help her up?" the lady said.

"sure" marcus replied.

"i don't need anyones help in getting up" y/n said in a sassy tone and proceeded to sit up by herself.

one of the tubes disconnected from her wrist and she started shaking uncontrollably.

"haha" she said, obviously joking around.

everyone started laughing.

the lady grabbed the tube and reconnected it.

she then grabbed the bowl of mashed potatoes from marcus' hand but it dropped to her lap.

"this is too heavy." she said.

"i'll feed you it then" marcus said

"he then took a half a spoon of mashed potatoes and fed it to y/n.

y/n woukd constantly criticise him and his feeding skills like:

your hand is too high

too little mash on the spoon

your bad at feeding

i'm hungry, give me bigger spoonfuls!

can you stop shaking i'm literally gonna cry in a second if you don't stop shaking.
