(y/n pov)

the interview finished and i started to say my goodbyes and go to the hotel in central Oslo.

i had been on my phone the whole time as an uber was driving me to my location.

i noticed multiple "theories" and stuff from fans, talking about how me and Marcus had a thing.

the theories not only talked about how his name was Marcus, but also when i mentioned where i lived in "north kind of" in the interview, Trofors is kind of in the north.

i was nervous, but just turned a blind eye to it.

i arrived at the hotel and just stayed in my room for the rest of the day since i was pretty tired with travelling.

i had a big day ahead of me tomorrow so i did kind of have to prepare.

y/n really loved me, i loved her too.. i just didn't get enough time to explain myself to her.

the whole day she was on my mind, i wanted to call her but i knew she wouldn't answer as that something would hold her back as she mentioned in the interview me and martinus listened to this morning.

we got ready for our flight, we were going to see the world cup finals for norway vs italy.

i really hope norway will win, it's a big day ahead of us.

——

we arrived in Oslo at a fancy hotel.

we were led to our rooms, it was the match was tonight so everyone was very excited, especially with the crazy advertisements.

——
the big night.

it was me opening for the grand finals with the football players on the pitch.

i had worn this:

it was eye-catching, i loved it

it was eye-catching, i loved it.

before the whole performance, stage staff had come in and attached a microphone from my ear to the front of my mouth so people could hear me.

i was meant to open with the song "no time to die" as a motivational thing for both teams, basically to not give up or whatever.

i luckily knew the words so i was good.

i left 4 hours before the match for soumd checks and stuff.

when i left, i couldn't believe my eyes, i saw marcus and martinus.

they were both in the lobby on the couch, paparazzi surrounded them, until the paparazzi saw me and ran towards me.

marcus and martinus looked back and saw the paparazzi going to me.

i had left quickly, outrunning the paparazzi to the car as i left for the stadium.

when i arrived, i was taken straight to the pitch, where the norwegian team had already been practicing.

i greeted every single player, and it was crazy to me to think about the fact that these people are so famous and well known and they probably don't even know who i am since i practically became famous overnight.

——

fast forward to the beginning of the match

——

i was taken to the stage on a car, my face and whole body was covered with a dark blanket as it was meant to be a surprise.

i left the car and stood still as the car drove away.

the beginning of no time to die begun.

everyone cheered.

the piano was heard throughout the whole, WHOLE stadium as everyone cheered

here we go.

"i should've known" i sung, the black blanket being taken off of me.

the whole crowd cheered for me.

i just looked around, overwhelmed but still sung.

i saw some cheering, some girls even crying.

i waved at them, making them go crazy, my eyes scanned the whole crowd until some familiar faces appeared.

(marcus pov)

y/n was amazing, especially with her first ever performance.

we both made eye contact, she kept the eye contact.
"we were a pair, but i saw you there,
too much to bare,
you were my life but life is far away from fair
was i stupid to love you?
was i reckless to help"

the wind blew threw her hair, she eventually looked away.

god that was intense.

she scanned the crowd again, now turning in all directions.

"fool me once, fool me twice"

martinus looked at me, intensely.

"you good?"

"i feel like those lyrics were aimed to me"

he just smiled.

i looked at him, giving him a dirty look.

"sorry bro" he said, looking back at y/n

her singing got more intense as she became more confident, now walking across the stadium in front of the players.

piano started to play again.

the crowd now started to clap to the beat.

"your no longer my concern" pointing in my direction.

"you were never on my side"

"fool me once, fool me twice"

she motioned one and two with her fingers.

pianos fell again.

"no time to die" she repeated

"no time to dieeeeeeeeeeee" everyone cheered.

"fool me once, fool me twice"

"there's just no time to die..."

pianos fell again, the whole crowd cheered.

i cheered too, i did really fuck up.
