The Heart Of The Fallen

The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth.

Ender! The little hybrid rabbit dog hop to the 17 year old boy holding a homemade gun. "Feeble." He sat to be a little by the rabbit's size. You are going?

"I don't plan to stay." Ender answers shortly. The rabbit made a snorting sound, Ender ignores him and look up. The sun is already rising, another day with missing answers from the mysterious Afina/ Afilina. He shake his head.

Thanks for carrying her though, I can't pull her away when the night fell.

"Welcome, I guess. You are warming up to her." Ender stated. Feeble shrugged.

She didn't kill me, she is also doing this thing with her hand on my neck, she gave me a really horrible name but she got me a luppa fruit! She climbed the tree with one hand! She's amazing!

Ender raise a brow at him. "Take care of her, call me when you need me. Good job Feeble." He said quickly and walk away but Feeble hop after him.

Wait a minute Ender!

Ender looks at Feeble. "What is it Feeble?" Ender ask in his usual stern and stolid voice.

Didn't you notice her hair?

Feeble ask. Ender did not answer and waited for Feeble to continue because he doesn't know what's wrong with her hair.

It has few golds and it smells like ninite flower. A gild caterpillar must have vomited on her hair, she'll find flowers and leaves growing out of her hair in the next few days.

"Just keep her safe." Ender command. "Tell me when she says anything important. She's going to wake soon, get her something to eat." Ender still talks like a soldier but he became more carefree than before he first came here, Feeble thought to himself.

I groaned, I hate mornings. The rock is cold beneath my skin. I rub my eyes and sat up. The furry blanket fell to my legs. I look around, sharp black rocks, water droplets, and tree roots, I'm in a cave. I don't remember going in a cave or having a blanket, maybe Moldy- it is quite impossible. I feel something unusual with my left hand, I look at it. There are leaves wrap around my left wrist.

I heard a familiar squeak, Moldy hop in pulling a huge leaf. "Good morning. Did you bring me here?" I ask. He stare at me then hop to his leaf, he bit a fruit then place them on my lap. He ignored my question. "Do you know where Ender is?" I joke. Moldy stare at me. "I need to kill him, I need to avenge my father's death, If he is here then the queen is alive." Oh Lord! I just realize something. The Formics, Ender, this planet, the berries, the water, Oh lord!

I have to find Ender! I stand up. "Moldy I'm running out of time, I have to find Ender and kill the Formic queen." I fold the leaf full of fruits and place them all in my bag, I pick up Moldy and carried him in my arms.

We need a higher ground. A flock/herd of butterfly ponies flew above them. "Can you ride those?" Afina ask Moldy. Funny, Ender ask the same thing before. Feeble thought to himself. Moldy shake his head no. Afina followed the butterfly ponies with her gaze. "Moldy I really need your help."

Afina bit her lip. "Please take me to Ender." She whispered. Moldy scramble out of her arm and pointed his ears. "You'll help me?" Moldy nod his head. Moldy hop while I follow, I just follow him but something doesn't seem right. I swear I saw that tree four to five times now. "Moldy I think we are just going circles." I turn left and Moldy followed but shake his head. "Come on." We got out of the confusing forest. "Where to now?" I ask Moldy. Moldy looks from left to right. Moldy hop to the darker part of the forest.
