Ender's Game 2

Chapter 8

"Ender." She said. I don't know her or do I? I don't think so, I have never seen her before. "How did you know my name?" I ask. She blinks twice then thrice, she run her hair through her brown hair and chuckled.

I look at her intently, watching her every move. She's the first person I've seen for ages and I still don't have any idea how she got here and why. She gripped her knife and swing it. She's fast but I'm able to block her with the turtle shell. "Look I just want to talk." I said as she continue to slice the shell.

She can't slice this, I wrestled a huge turtle for 2 days for this. Then her sword tip stab through a little crack. "Stop hiding you coward!" I push the shell to her and pinned her to a tree. "Stop! I just want to talk."

"Well I don't!" She yelled. "Obviously." I answered. She glares at me. She swung her knife over my head, I ducked at her every swing. I can't let this happen. I caught her wrist and grip it. My brother taught me how to break someone's wrists. "Aaah!" She yelled in pain. Her knife fell her hand, I let go of her and grab the knife. I'm sure I did not break her wrist but it's going to hurt.

She sat on the dirt holding her aching wrist while she glares at me. I walk to her and at next to her. "I'm sorry about your wrist, I just want to talk to you." She glares at me some more. "How did you know my name and why are you here?" She looks away. "My mission is highly classified."

"How about your name, I bet your name is not." I said. "Yes it is." She snarled. "McMuffin it is then. So McMuffin why are you here? and how did you know my name?" Her face is red, really red. "It's Afilina! Afilina okay? My name is not from Mcdonalds!" She yelled. "Afilina-"

"Afina! Call me Afina." She said. She looks confuse and surprise. "I don't know where I am but all I know is I have to find you." She whispered. "Come on, we can't stay here." I offered my hand to her. I feel guilty about hurting her wrist. She place her unhurt hand on mine and pulled me to her. I was too surprised to fight against her that I fell on to her and she hit her forehead to mine. Next thing I know is that I'm lying on the floor, my forehead hurting real hard. When the pain subsided Afina is pointing her knife at me. "As a payment of your help you will run Ender but the next time I see you I will kill you. I swear I'm going to kill you." She said sternly. I know she's serious but she can't survive in this place alone. "Go away!" She yelled. I stand up and stood on my ground. "Afina this place is dangerous."

"I said go away!" She swing her knife to my chest, I jump back but she's able to leave a finger long cut on my chest. It starts to sting. I step back, looking at her one more time. I entered the forest and walk further from where she is. I took off my shirt and take a look at my cut. It stained my shirt.

That's nasty.

My head snap to its direction. "Nice to see you too Feeble." I take my shirt and wore it over my head. You need a kinap berry on that. He said. "It's only a small cut."

What's wrong with that 'thing'? Out in the storm like that.

"That 'thing' is a human, Feeble." He twitches his nose. Oh right, I forgot that we are the so-called aliens and you are the humans.

I messed his fur. It's hard to get mad at a sarcastic, talking, bunny. "She can't survive in this place alone." I sat on a rock and Feeble hop to my side. You got that right, you're lucky to have the queen by your side when you got here or you could have been toast.

"That's why I need your help." I fiddled with my shell shield.

With what?. he ask.

"You know this forest like the back of your hand- or paw, guide her, get her out of trouble, help her find food, a place to stay-"
