I know I should put down the phone,

I know I should try to go to sleep,

But my mind tells me to make more,

To do more, to create more

To appease my mind and its need to work

And have stuff done to feel good

I know I should put down the phone,

I know I should try to go to sleep,

But I am glued here until I write enough

To feed the monsters inside my head
