At night, everyone sat around the campfire trying to make s'mores. Yoongi seems to be a natural at making them so Taehyung and Jungkook keep bothering him to make them some. Yoongi doesn't seem to mind and is in fact thrilled that the younger boys are taking an interest in him (especially Jungkook). In the distance, you see a pair of amber eyes in the dark, waiting for you to lead Yoongi away. Namjoon and Hobi glance at you, recognizing the eyes of their alpha. You gesture to Yoongi then look in the direction of the sacred tree. The two boys nod and seem to understand what the alpha wants.
"Yah! Namjoon what are you doing?" Yoongi's voice cuts through as he grabs stick from Namjoon's hand. Namjoon, Hobi, and you immediately look to Yoongi's hand and watch as he blows out the flames on Namjoon's marshmallow.
"S-sorry hyung, I guess I got distracted," Namjoon smiles in embarrassment.
Yoongi just shakes his head and gives the stick back to the clumsy wolf. He then leans turns back to Jungkook who's waving another marshmallow in his face. Yoongi keeps a straight face before taking the marshmallow and sticking it above the flames. Jungkook grins brightly while watching Yoongi cook his marshmallow. His eyes are wide open with wonder like a child staring at Christmas tree lights. You chuckle at your little brother but gaze lovingly at your boyfriend who is taking care of him. You lean closer to Yoongi, giving him a peck on the cheek before asking,
"Baby, do you wanna go on a night stroll with me?"
"A night stroll? That's kind of dangerous especially with that giant fox from earlier, don't you think?" he pulls the stick out from over the flame to examine it.
"Fine, I guess I'll go by myself," you begin to stand up, but Yoongi's hand grasps your wrists and pulls you back down to your seat,
"No, Y/N, just stay here. We can go on a walk tomorrow morning," Yoongi tilts the stick to Jungkook who excitedly sandwiches the warm, light brown marshmallow between a chocolate bar and a graham cracker.
"But it's so romantic to go on a night stroll in the light of the moon," you whine.
"No, Y/N."
"You can stay here if you want. I'm not forcing you," you pull your wrist away and stand up to leave before Yoongi can stop you again. He lets out a frustrated groan, cleans his hands with some wet wipes and grabs a flashlight before following you. He threads his fingers with yours,
"You're really stubborn you know that?" he complains.
"I know, but you still love me anyway," you kiss his cheek and wrap your arms around his, "Don't worry, I'll protect you this time,"
Yoongi rolls his eyes and just nods. You both stroll silently through the forest, passing the temple. Although Yoongi depended on his flashlight to see in the dark, the moonlight actually helps more than he expects. It's undeniable that there is something about this forest that you guys are camping in. The moonlight seems brighter than it would be in any normal forest. You lead Yoongi to a wisteria tree right at the edge of a cliff. The tree looks illuminated in the moonlight, and it takes Yoongi's breath away. As Yoongi gets closer to the tree he sees what looks like small crystals inside of the flowers. He figures that's probably what makes the tree look so bright in the night. You know that it's actually the Moon goddess' magic that makes it shine in the dark. Yoongi pulls your close to him and looks into your eyes intensely,
