The next morning you find yourself waking up in the arms of Yoongi. The warmth between you two and the way he holds you fills you with a bittersweet happiness. You have missed being in his arms and his affections which was abundant last night. He wouldn't stop kissing you and the first time he did it, you felt strange but after hearing him howl, something changed. The electricity came back and feeling his lips on you made you tingle, but it was still different from before. You also couldn't shake the feeling of Chan's kiss off. You are just so confused...
You slowly squirm out of Yoongi's arms and get up from the bed. You look back and admire his sleeping face. The way his forehead wrinkles as he dreams is so adorable. You lean over and kiss his forehead before heading down to the kitchen to get some coffee. As you enter the kitchen you are greeted by none other than the Alpha.
"Y/N, good morning," he raises his coffee mug to you.
"Morning, Alpha," you bow. You didn't really expect to bump into him which seems silly since this is his house.
"I haven't seen you around in a while,"
"Oh well I didn't really have a reason to visit,"
"I heard my nephew hasn't been the best boyfriend," he says apologetically.
"It's not—it's fine. We talked about it so it's not a problem."
"Very well but I'm hoping things are better now?"
"Yes well..." you hesitate about whether or not to be truthful. It feels awkward since the man is your boyfriend's uncle and it feels wrong to air out dirty laundry in front of him, but at the same time, he's the Alpha and is probably the best person to ask about your problems.
"Alpha...I uhm...I may have a problem," you confess.
"Oh? What is it? Is everything okay?"
"I'm not sure...the thing is...for the longest time, I thought Yoongi was my mate and when we first started, everything felt easy and exciting. But then...we decided to take a step back. Initially we were going to break up but we just decided to take a break and well...There's this new uhm...person...and recently I've been feeling the pull to him as well. But when we...ki—kissed...it felt wrong...so I'm just confused..."
"Hmm...that is confusing indeed..." he sips his drink to give himself time to think, "I can't say for sure but...let's assume Yoongi is your mate...If he broke up with you...your fox might think that its mate is rejecting it...So the feeling with the new person. It might be a second chance mate pairing. But if you haven't rejected your first mate that might explain why you still feel some pull to Yoongi still."
"Rejected by my first mate..." you mumble to yourself as you take in what the Alpha is saying.
The Alpha looks at his wristwatch and sets his coffee mug in the sink, "I can talk about this more with you later if you want, but I have to go now,"
