"I think we should just tell him. Rip the band aid off," Jungkook suggests as everyone walks into the living room, "I mean what's the worst that could happen? He goes away? No big deal."
"Kook, don't be an asshole," you smack the back of his head, "I don't want my boyfriend running away."
"As much as Jungkook's reasons are immature, he has a point. Not the 'no big deal' part but the just being blunt and telling him," Namjoon strokes his chin, "I mean let's say we decide to wait. When would the perfect time be? If he's gonna freak out, he'll freak out no matter what."
"Maybe he needs to get to know us all better first. He might freak out less if he we're friends with him. The more he knows us, the more he'll be attached and the more he'll likely let stuff go," Jimin suggests.
"Jimin has a point," Ji-an joins in.
"You're going to guilt trip him into staying?" Jungkook argues.
"Not guilt trip but...I mean I'd be less likely to leave something that's important to me." Jimin retorts.
"I feel like that's tricking him..." Hobi bites his fingernails.
"Tricking him with friendship?" Jimin asks, "There's no trick, we're just letting him feel the water before throwing him in the pool."
"What do you think, Alpha?" Namjoon turns to the older gentleman.
"I'm not sure what to think. Maybe we should wait. If he runs away at least I got to spend some time with him."
"So we're waiting to tell him?" Taehyung asks
"Tell me what?" Yoongi walks into the living room.
Everyone's heads snap towards him and stares in stunned silence.
"Tell me what?" Yoongi asks in louder, his fists clenched in frustration. Unfortunately, no one answers, and everyone just looks at each other in nervousness.
"TELL ME NOW!" Yoongi chucks the photo album across the room.
"Yoongi!" You walk up to him and grab his wrist. But it's too late as Yoongi's anger has now taken over. Yoongi firmly pulls away and glares at everyone. All his life, he has been an outsider. And finally, with this group of people, he thought would be included. They were his family and friends! At least that's what they claimed and yet they refused to tell him something important. Why were they keeping him in the dark? He is supposed to belong and yet Yoongi finds himself an outsider once more.
"Why won't anyone FUCKING TELL ME what's going on? What is this secret? WHY WON'T YOU TELL ME?" Yoongi's face turns red and hot tears come to his eyes. Why wasn't he kept in the family?
