She's a bitch. She's honestly a bitch. Soulmate or not -probably not- I still hate her. My bedroom room abruptly opened revealing a sort of pissed off Finley."What the fuck is your problem?" I question, he ignores it and walks toward my bed. "My problem? What the fuck is yours. I get you don't like people but you can not be rude towards them and insult them whenever you feel like it. " He scoffs. " She insulted me too. Bitch said I can't get a good lay. The fuck she thinks she is?" I say grumpily. "She did you right. That will teach ya not to insult everyone who lays their eyes on you."
"I wasn't wrong, she's a bitch. All girls are." I scoff. "No, they're not she's not. Not everything revolves around you and if you think people are gonna respect and bow down to you just cause you are a prince well you need to wake up and realise that isn't gonna happen. The sooner you get that through your thick scalp the better." Then he rolled his eyes. I was about to say something else but then he got off the bed and walked right through the door while muttering, something, being about me acting like an incompetent asshole.
Finely is usually the happy go lucky type, so when the yells or acts all serious and murderous it kind of concerns me. To a certain point I mean how can I not be. We've been fucking friends for ten years now and I'm not gonna let some bitch with a good girl act come and stop that.

2 DAYS LATER
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
I woke up at fucking 7 am the cause of the banging on my door. I walk pretty slowly and slam my door open causing the knocks to come to a halt. "What the fuck you want?" I growl, the sleepiness evident in my voice. I never have and never will be a morning person. I love my bed more than I will ever love anything else in the world. Nigel eyes my shirtless body up and down before snapping back to reality. He cleared his throat before averting his eyes from mine and focusing on what was behind me. "Hey, we're all going out today. Wanna come?" I think about it for a second before answering. "Nah, I'm good." He doesn't even look surprised by it all. "You sure?"He raises his eyebrows. I nod my head before closing the door and heading back to bed.
On a normal day, I would have said yes but clearly, I have issues with a certain new addition to the group and I'm not trying to get a migraine cause of some bitch the day before school starts. I went back to sleep and woke up three hours later. I took a quick shower, ate and decided to go to the garage.
The garage is my warehouse building where I go to make my DIY crafts. My Kakek- grandpa taught me how to make cool DIY crafts when I was young, and I'm still doing them. Currently, I'm working on renewing our furniture in the apartment. Before I started working on the wooden basketball hoop I connected my phone to the speaker and soon the lyrics of daddy issues by the neighbourhood filled the room.
After a few more hours I was too tired and went to the grocery store cause I was starving, I also decided to buy more ingredients for our dinner and future meals. Grandpa also taught me how to cook after I burnt our kitchen down. Let's just say my dad wasn't too happy with me that evening. Suddenly my phone started ringing I checked who it was and it read a private number.
Not suspicious at all.
(phone call)
"Hello"
"Uh, hey Rowan, it's Fin."
Yea, no shit sherlock.
"This isn't your phone, where are you?"
"Um, the thing is I kinda forgot my phone in my room along with my wallet.
And I need you to bring them over to me."
"*Sighs* Okay fine, where are you?"
"The bowling alley."
"Okay, I'll see you in 30 minutes. Bye."
" Bye. I love y-"
I didn't wait to hear the last part mostly cause I knew what was coming after that sentence. Never stay to hear Finley say those words, especially when you're in a public place.
Soon I reached the town's biggest and nicest bowling alley. Bowl Heaven, the moment I walked in I noticed Finley's lean figure pressed against the wall. He hadn't noticed me yet cause when you enter the doors of the place you can see the waiting stands and all but people from the inside won't see you until you walk at least 15-20 steps. Do you get it? Cause I still don't.
The layout is hella weird.
I finally stopped beside Finley, "hey." I grunted. He jumped at the tone of my voice- or the fact that you spoke-
"Oh hey, you're finally here." I hummed and passed him the phone and wallet. I was about to speak again when he yelled out my presence to others.
"Hey guys, Rowan's here and he's playing too." All heads turned to us while mine turned to him.
"Wow, he got you playing?" Priya questioned. I shook my head denying these accusations. "Oh come on, please we're one man short," Nigel whined walking towards me.
"I don't care." I shrugged nonchalantly.
"Please, I'll buy you whose weird rascal candy packets for the rest of the month." They continued to plead. I finally agreed and that's when I noticed/ felt the pair of eyes that has me staring at me since I got here.
I walked towards her -reluctantly of course- and just stood in front of her. We stared at each other before Jewel broke eye contact and cleared her throat before whispering a
"Hey." I continued to stare at her while she avoided eye contact. She looked up at me expecting a greeting back.
And what she got in return was an eye roll and mutters of a few colourful words, then a walked away.
I still felt her staring at me.
Any thoughts ?
_Also been thinking about adding self made quotes at the start or ending on the chapters.-Val 🌺
